Calamunda Camel farm is great day out. There are camel rides of the kids and the tea rooms are quite nice for the adults. The place stinks of camels and the landscape is barron but it's a camel farm so what can you expect. Well and truly worth the trip out to the hills
Great little bakery. They have some of the best meat pies in WA-although they are not as good as they used to be. The cakes are also quite nice too and everything is quite well priced.
I had both dinner and breakfast here as I was staying at the hotel. The food was outstanding (especially the dinner) but it is very pricey (it is the finest dining in Karratha). The service was not great but being in the country the staff turnover is high and you are mostly served by teenagers. The dessert was also very nice. The breakfast was quite average.

Stayed here for a work trip and I was really impressed. The room was really comfortable and spacious. The staff were reasonably helpful and there was a huge selection of the latest movies to watch ($15.00 watch). The only thing was when we went they having the worst storms in a decade and there is not much shelter to get from the outside of your room to the lobby.
I have been here several times and I really love it. The food is outstanding. You can come here for tapas or for mains. The few main meals they do are expensive (and small) however you can eat for 20-$25 if you share tapas between friends. The drinks are also very expensive but the place is classy and the atmosphere is great.
Don't come here to do you weekly shop but do come if you want do pick up something special to take to a friends house. General groceries are pricey (about what you would expect) but they have great fresh made, cakes, rolls and dips. Their tomato salsa is the best (they always have free samples in the store to try). I picked up a box of assorted cakes here to take to a dinner party and there were a big hit.
A good bowling ally. A good place for young and old. There is a good food selection and lots of parking too. They also do 'glow in the dark' bowling at night on the weekend which is fun.
A pretty good bowling ally. A good place to bring large groups of people as they do cheap bowling with tapas packages. The whole place is dark dingy, which adds to the feel of it but in someways it makes it really scary as well.
Good for groups of teenager's but not for families.
A pretty good karaoke place. Would recommend hiring a Private room as the main restaurant gets crowded and noisy. The food is of a pretty high standard and its a great place to get together with friends as you can have your own private function with great food and entertainment at a good price.
The best restaurant on Scarborough beach. The food is great ( I have tried main meals, tapas and coffee) and the service is quite good too.
The restaurant is split into three parts. You can sit outside (great in summer), sit inside the restaurant (great for a meal in winter), or sit in the bar area out the back (they serve drinks and tapas out there and the decor and atmosphere are perfect). It's pricey but you always get what you pay for.
