Gorgeous little corner shop, always fully packed with people. The little bakery is always filled with aromas of freshly brewed coffee, bread, pastries and pies. The food is fantastic specially the croissants and strawberry creme brulee tart. The sandwiches are unqiue not boring. I am a regualr customer but still am disappointed with the service. Very seldom are there smiles or friendly greetings. It is always as if they are so busy that they have no time for basic greetings. If it is not for the wonderful food and lack of good quality cafe and bakery in Mascot/Alexandria area, I will not be a regular customer.

Amazing Italian restaurant. My partner and I had been living around the area for a while but neither one of us had ever been to Capanos. Hence, we decided to go there for our first date. The exterior may not be fantastic, but the interior makes you feel like you are in Italy. Very cosy and friendly environment. The service is personal and professional. The food is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended items are the garlic bread which is freshly made pizza bases, the garlic prawns and creme brulee. Delicious. It has been our favourite restaurant for the past 3 years.

We went there for a friends birthday celebration. We were looking to do something a little different. The venue has a retro outlook and all the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The service can be a little slow at times but this was understandable as they were very busy that night. They did not neglect excellent service despite the number of people there. We did not make any reservation but staff were quick to accomodate and make our evening pleasant. Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely hold another event there.

Approximate cost: $20 per person
