Cannot rate Capanos highly enough, atmosphere is brilliant, food is AMAZING, the staff & the owner Alex are so lovely & attentive. A thousand stars Capanos!

This is a bit of an establishment in Botany. We've dinned here numerous times over the years. The food is average to above average, prices are comparatively high for what you get and for the ambiance but locals come here because there is little else on offer in the area. My wife and I went here for dinner the other night without a booking. There was one table of 4 available which they gave to us. Amazing food, garlic bread is a whole pizza cut up and delicious, pasta freshly made and sauce spot on with fresh daily seafood, pizza omg the pizza best I have ever had, atmosphere brilliant and authentic, service attentive and unbelievably homely considering they were flat out, highly recommend! !

We had heard about capanos from a friend so nwhen we had a late night flight we decided to have an early dinner there on the way. Greeting is excellent. Food is beautiful. Service amazing. This is a wonderful, simple restaurant that was a pleasure to go to. Wished we lived closer so we could go again soon.

This comfortable little gem of a restaurant is like home away from home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to all. The food is unpretentious and delicious. Good value for money. Children are always welcomed and they provide crayons, pencils and paper for them. You always leave with a smile on your face.

You CANNOT go past this amazing restaurant for fine Italian food in a relaxed and atmospheric setting. The flavours are fabulous, the portions are extremely generous and the friendly staff cannot do enough for you! This place is a bit of an institution in Botany. I have never had a bad meal at Capano. The 'speciale' pizza bread is a must! It's hard not to over indulge so leave room for main and the delicious deserts!

Amazing Italian restaurant. My partner and I had been living around the area for a while but neither one of us had ever been to Capanos. Hence, we decided to go there for our first date. The exterior may not be fantastic, but the interior makes you feel like you are in Italy. Very cosy and friendly environment. The service is personal and professional. The food is absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended items are the garlic bread which is freshly made pizza bases, the garlic prawns and creme brulee. Delicious. It has been our favourite restaurant for the past 3 years.
