We popped in here for lunch as we found it when we were out for a drive.

A really busy wee place but the service was really good with the waitress happily accommodating our foibles like no mayonaisse or dressing etc. Nothing seemed to be too much bother. Overall the service was efficient and attentive.

I also managed to find a healthy lunch although the portion was a bit on the big side (not a complaint). The kids choices were good too.

A very pleasant experience not to mention the beautiful view and the final bill wasn't horrendous. Very good value. Will definitely visit again.

The food choice is fairly limited here but the food is quite pleasant although a bit overpriced.

The coffee is average.

In addition to the couple of times I've had a snack in here, I've been in twice but have left as the waitress was surly and unwelcoming and it felt like we were never going to get served.

Went across to the Queen of Tarts on the other side of the road.

The manager in this store needs to knock his staff into line.

I know Freedom staff are supposed to welcome you when you walk into the shop or talk to you if they come across you in the store but not at Fountaingate.

Most of them are rude especially the younger members of staff.

I know this store is one of the best performing Freedom stores in Victoria but it's only because of the captive market and growing population in Casey and the Freedom name. It's nothing to do with the quality of the staff and management here.
I go in here to research my goods but I order the big ticket items from Nunawading where the service is excellent and the store is well managed.

I have to go in here for business supplies as it's the closest place to me.

I find most of their things overpriced but what annoys me most the service or lack of it.

You can have 3 or 4 staff standing at the counter and they totally ignore people who come in to queue and ask a question. There seems to be no management here and no customer service ethic.

Twice in the last month, I have had to actually ask for service because the staff were standing around chatting to each other. They don't even have the courtesy to acknowledge you.

I have eaten here twice recently. The first time I only had Bruschetta and it was very ordinary. There were hardly any tomatoes, no basil to speak of and the garlic was that mushed garlic that you get in jars for cooking.
Against my better judgement and after a walk, we decided to eat there again last Sunday because we couldn't be bothered cooking. My husband had the lamb curry which was mostly fat. I know lamb is a fatty meat but there was a substantial amount of grizzle. Not worth the $25! I had the pumpkin risotto. I should have sent it back! It was a gluggy mess and there was hardly any pumpkin. The little bits of pumpkin I did find had been cooked with the skin on. I could also taste the flour or cornflour they must have used to thicken it and it stayed on my taste buds all night. THey had mixed in cream and butter to disguise the fact that they obviously knew it wasn't up to much. It was seriously disgusting and I shouldn't have paid for it.
My son's pizza and chips was of the frozen variety and tasteless and the chips were greasy! Why are there no healthy options for children?
We spent around $70 for the meals and wine and it was a total waste of money.
A waiter asked my Husband if we enjoyed our meals when he went to pay and my Husband explained that we hadn't but there was no offer to reduce the cost.
My glass was dirty and I had to send it back.
The view was nice but that's about it.

I have eaten dinner here on a couple of occasions. You are greeted as soon as you walk in. The waiting staff are friendly and efficient. They are attentive without interfering and they have a good knowledge of the food that they are serving.
The menu is quite comprehensive and the food is absolutely delicious. I would particularly recommend the steak which was cooked to perfection.
All in all, a very pleasant evening out. I will definitely be making Woods a regular event.

I have had both lunch and dinner here. The location is spectacular especially if you get a seat on the balcony overlooking the bay.
Both times when I arrived, I had to wait quite a while before I was attended to and the staff were standing around chatting as the place wasn't particularly busy.
For the dinner, I had steak which was meant to be a porterhouse and priced around $32. It was a cheap cut, more like bbq steak and very tough although the rest of the dish was quite tasty.
The serving staff were quite friendly although not particularly knowledgable and the man in charge was arrogant and patronising.
I did have a lovely evening but this was more to do with the company of my Husband and Son, the weather and the fact that it was the start of the holidays.

As a part time local in Sorrento, I can recommend this place as one of the best in Sorrento.
The service is way above the rest of the establishments in Sorrento and it's nice to be recognised when you visit.
The menu is varied and the food is fresh and home-made. The coffee is the best in Sorrento and you can grab a take-away one if you have time while waiting for the ferry.
It's not open for dinner but a definite for brekky and lunch. Excellent.

I am a part time local in Sorrento and have been here a number of times.

With the exception of one older lady, the service is slow, unfriendly, disorganised.

I am now boycotting this place after yesterday - I waited 10 minutes to be served and I ordered a coffee and a vanilla slice - easy, right? I waited 15 minutes for my coffee and my vanilla slice just didn't appear. I left money with my cup for the coffee and when I told the asian waitress that I was leaving the money and that I didn't get my order, she just tutted at me and walked away.
I have been in this place on a prior visit for 2 hours just having a tea, a quiche and then a spider.
This place will not go out of business however because the vanilla slices are famous (not exceptional, just famous) and it's in a prime spot in a busy tourist town.
They don't deserve the business when they treat people so badly!

This is a fabulous little cafe run by a lovely couple. The service is very friendly and quick (particularly the take away coffee).
The food is fresh and very reasonably priced and there are nice little touches like a little chocolate mint with your coffee. The coffee is superb also.
I would recommend this place to anyone. I always feel like my custom is valued here.
It doesn't do dinners just breakfast and lunch.
