The shop was a decent size with variety of chicken & poultry products for sale but what caught my eye was chicken tenderloin strips for $6.99/kg & I bought 1/2 kg. When I got home to clean, I found some strips that were whitish on one side & didn't look fresh so I marinated them & used it for steamboat that I was cooking that night & froze the rest. Was not impressed with the quality.

They have a wide variety of meat, poultry and deli produce with very reasonable prices & less for bulk buying. I bought 3kg of chicken drumsticks for $8 and a kg of diced beef for $10. They were fresh & the service was good & friendly.

My friend & I had the Beef & Vegetables with chilli Ramen in clear soup & the Roast Pork & Vegetables with chilli Ramen in Miso Soup. They were tasty & the serving was large. We were given complimentary pickles. The Japanese tea & filtered water is free if you help yourself. It is busy & the shop is small but we were lucky to get a seat at lunchtime. Service is fairly quick.

There's plenty of parking and the store is huge but when we were there, the escalator going up wasn't working, we had to go upstairs to look for a small item we wanted although we found it after sometime. Checkout was reasonably quick but would prefer to go to a smaller store if not purchasing much as it would save time.

I discovered this greengrocer yesterday when we went there for the bananas that were advertised for $1.99/kg. They have a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. It is also a convenience store & the prices are very reasonable and good quality except that the oranges that were bagged for $0.99 were not fresh. However, the service was good & the owner is friendly. It wasn't busy as we were there mid-morning on Sunday.

I had lunch with 5 other ladies yesterday & we ordered the mixed bruschetta, pasta frank sinatra (seafood), stuffed mushrooms and wood-fired pizza ferrara with coffee & tea for 5 at the end of the meal. The bruschettas were nice, pasta & pizza were alright but would have preferred a more crusty base for the pizza. There were only 3 stuffed mushrooms (entre' size). When asked if we could give them a cake to be brought out for my friend's birthday, was told that we would have to pay $2.50 extra per person to do so. We decided to do it ourselves since we had brought the candles & matches. The service was ordinary although they changed our plates 3 times which was not really necessary. The total bill came to over $120 & with 25% discount on the Entertainment card it came to $90.64. If not for this I would say their prices are expensive

Approximate cost: $30 - 50

He was quick to quote me a fixed price for removing my old Smeg gas stove & fitting a new Ilve gas stove, inclusive of materials & labour. When he came he needed to connect an extension to the gas pipe which would normally cost $27 according to him but since he had agreed to charge only $150 for the job, he did not charge me extra. The job was done in just over half an hour & he checked that there was no gas leak & that all the burners lighted up properly when ignited. I would recommend him to anyone as he's prompt & did a good job.

This is a cheap discount variety store next to Aldis in Winston Hills shopping mall. I was attracted by the 50% discount on winter fluffy slippers & bought a pair for only $3. It's a small store but good for bargains on household goods.

This is my first visit to this hair studio & it is smaller than the other one at Epping. It doesn't have as good an ambience as the Epping studio but I had Michael cut & colour my hair as well using half of my own colouring solution. Initially some of the colour didn't take so I had to have it massaged into my hair & wait another 20 min or so but after it was washed out, everything turned out good & I was happy with the way he tidied up my hair after blow drying & styling it. A tip about the parking - make sure you display the parking ticket on your car windscreen. I wasn't aware of this as I haven't been to Carlingford Village for a long time but luckily I was told by a friend who came into the shop & she was able to do it for me before I got a parking fine!

Came here after a long time after visiting the hairdresser to shop for fresh Asian vegetables & ended up with some frozen dumplings, seafood, noodles & preserved mustard. Prices are reasonable though I thought the mustard was 99c but when I got home & looked at the receipt, I was charged $1.19. Whether their mistake or mine, I don't know but I won't go back to dispute as it is not close to where I live or usually shop. Other than that, the shop has wide aisles and service is good as there were very few people in the shop, being a Monday.
