I don't know about other Barry Plant locations, but Barry Plant in Boronia were very professional. They really looked after us. We wanted to get things moving quickly and the agent was happy to oblige. I would definitely recommend them.

Our real estate agent asked us if we wanted to use Sea Change Conveyancing. We didn't know anyone in the area so we agreed - one less thing to worrry about, right?. We have been very disappointed, however, and realize we should have found our own. The communication between real estate agent and conveyancer has been poor, contracts have contained mistakes, and the conveyancer has not only been unavailable to discuss the errors, and we still haven't heard back. The most frustrating part of purchasing the property has been dealing with this conveyancer. Of course, I don't recommend her.

Ok this is not an advertisement for the store and I'm not going to tell you what they sell and for how much. This is a fair dinkum review based on my experiences with this supposed "op shop". This is hardly an op shop. I can never afford to buy anything that i need here. I always feel angry when i see the prices here. They are ridiculously expensive and clearly out to make a profit. Their blankets were unaffordable during the winter. Now it's summer, they're still unaffordable! This op shop is not for the disadvantaged or those experiencing hardship.

I bought a small 10-pack of 9cm tiles to mosaic a table. I got home and discovered they weren't exactly the same pattern as the other two I had at home. That is, I purchased Waringa Tomato 613821 instead of Waringa Tomato 613820. The mosaic is only half complete. I needed to exchange the ten tiles for the correct ones (and purchase an additional ten) but the man said it was not possible. He said he thought they might be on sale and exchange is not given in that case. But he had to consult the computer to check that. The point is, the tiles were in their regular shelves - not the clearance section - and there was no signage at all to suggest they were a sale item. Indeed, the receipt itself states that it has a returns policy that "must be made within 28 days of purchase date and a 15% charge will apply". So you see why I feel disgusted with this money grabbing, sneaky company who willy nilly claim items to be "sale items". I, of course, now have to find another tile company in order to complete the mosaic. Not only that, but I also have 10 tiles that don't match and therefore, can't use. I am so angry.

We used to go here to get all our fruit and vegies because it was more economical than the supermarkets.

However, these days they have become ridiculously overpriced. We don't go there anymore. The supermarket's fruit and vegies are cheaper and the quality is just as good, if not better.
