Went recently for a birthday on a Saturday night. Very busy, very noisy. The food came out quite quickly, considering how full the restaurant was, but the quality wasn't what i expected for the prices. Steaks were in excess of $25 up to $30 but were not really that great. I would return to the beer garden for a drink, but not that impressed with the quality of the food. Quite a lot of items on the menu that seem to be convenience, for example my husband ordered the seafood deluxe basket thingy and it was practically all frozen or preprepared stuff deep fried!!!!. I would think for such a famous pub in the area that food would be better quality. NOt happy.

Traditional woodfire pizza. Thin base, not heaps of topping. Fantastic. Dont feel bloated when you walk out. The owners are the pizza maker and the waitress (she is exceptional with her service) and their lovely daughter makes coffees! The dessert pizza with strawberries and nutella is mindblowing!!!!! Is licensed and has great beer and wine.

Generally get take away from this place. Have eaten there once, service great, but too warm on a hot day (aircon not wonderful!). Pad Thai is one of the best i have eaten. Can BYO or buy alcohol there.

This review is for Konjo Ethiopian Restaurant & Craft, Collingwood VIC

When a lady I used to work with mentioned that her and her husband were opening their restaurant in Collingwood i was extremely excited to try traditional Ethiopian food! (never been to an Ethiopian resturant before). The food was excellent. The service was warm, knowledgable and the food was delivered quickly.
You eat with your hands, -, it was really a unique experience.
The portions were good and the prices very resonable. Plenty of selection for vegetarians and meat eaters alike! i think they just got a BYO or alcohol licence....best check when you book.
the food was so tasty! There is also art and jewelery to view and to purchase. A lovely family run place. The Ethiopian coffee is roasted daily and is delicious. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed.

This is a great, fresh and clean sushi noodle bar! Great ingredients, portions are reasonable and service is friendly. Parking can be hard during peak hour and its not going to be your romantic or catch up resturant. It is really great food.
