I have been here for lunch and it was delicious. The waitress was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The coffee is good, not great, good. My less than impressive review is actually based on my experience this morning. Arriving 15mins before they opened we walked up and down the wintry street enjoying the sunshine while we patiently waited for them to set up and open for the day. In the distance we noticed one couple enter, another couple reading the menu on the window and the staff setting up some chairs out the front. We approached and rather than walk right in i waited to get the waitresses attention and asked her if we could enter. She answered with a roll of her eyes and a forced 'yeah i guess so'. I immediately looked at my husband and he laughed at me. There was NO WAY I was going to pay money for brekkie in this Establishment after that. It didnt matter if it was the BEST food delivered to our table, after that 'welcome' we decided to spend our hard earned money somewhere that was actually thrilled to have customers. Did i cut my nose to spite my face? Maybe? Probably. But the way the economy is going........more and more people are going to be a bit more choosy about where they spend they money and their time....................just an observation.

Dragged my butt out of bed this morning for a scrumptious brekkie. Must admit was on my way to another cafe up the road, but with a less then impressive welcome (see my other reviews, you will put two and two together) we curiously ventured here. The service was friendly and efficient. Baked eggs (Japanese style) were my choice (they do a special which includes a bloody mary or a cider) and it was DELICioUS. the coffee was fantastic. We sat out in the winter sun and to our delight there were no smokers!!! A truly delightful brekkie and we will be back!!!! (maybe after a sleep in though).

Tucked away off Doncaster Road, this little cafe is a coffee lovers heaven.
When you push through the door, the aroma is magnificent. A small, warm and friendly cafe. Attention to detail, staff that look you in the eye and serious coffee lovers everywhere. A small selection of pasteries and beans for sale. This place respects the coffee bean. The best cafe latte i have had in years, possibly ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called them on the way to visit friends, as we found their menu in our mailbox the other day.
They have a deal if you spend $50 you get a free entree up to the value of $6.90 (be aware its not all the entrees though, they tell you which ones) but hey, nice incentive nonetheless!
The spring rolls had nice stuffing - chicken mince - but the wrapper had this strange sweet taste........
The Pad Thai was nice - not exceptional. Chicken Green curry had a nice flavor a bit mild and some of the zucchini was bitter! Beef and cashews with dry chili - nice flavor bit 'meaty' (this sounds strange, but you could taste the beef as a heavy meat taste instead of the spices). The chicken satay skewers were lovely and 6 in a serve was generous!
The restaurant is large and elegantly decked out. Wasnt busy, but it was only 6pm when we picked up food. Not sure if we would return, considering many other options literally mins futher away.

My husband and I have driven past this restaurant so many times and each time we say 'next time we want an impromptu treat'. Problem was we kept passing it, on the way to somewhere else......... LAST NIGHT we made it happen and gosh are we happy we did.
The restaurant has a great selection of western Thai and real Thai dishes. Service was very fast and friendly. We tried a clay pot with chicken and tamarind - spicy and delicious and an incredible pork mince and peppers dish. We rolled out of there happy with our new discovery. It was quite busy, loads of walk ins for take away - however, it felt calm, happy and flowing. They are obviously used to large groups and lots of patrons. The restaurant is decked out in dark wood, gorgeous carvings, funky light fixtures - it all feels elegant and friendly. No laminex here. Great little suburban gem. Its a hop skip and jump from the train station and heaps of parking across the road in a small shopping strip. BYO wine is a plus also, and there is a bottle shop 50m back up the road if you forget! Go, you will be pleased

Great Italian food - Sicilian influence. small restaurant, so 'cozy' and loud. The produce is wonderful and fresh Delicious food is served. restaurant? No. But great nonetheless.
Service is great. The mains dont come with greens or salad, so you need to order those if you are big eater. i had the lamb cutlet, really tasty - but i needed more. we had a fantastic pea and pancetta salad with some sort of grain - the highlight.
would happily recommend, may not rush back though - so much great food in Melbourne, once tried i thinks its going to become a bit of a 'local'.

What a refreshing change - something unpretentious, but Uber cool in Rosanna. Finally Brunswick/Richmond has moved out to the suburbs. YAY!! Great coffee, yummy lunch and brekkie. reasonable price. We went when it had been open just 2 weeks they were attentive, speedy and the food was delicious. We sat outside on a lateish saturday afternoon and the road was quiet enough for it to be tranquil. The cafe inside is airy and spacious, but not so big that it feels vacuous. A fantastic addition to the north east!
