For such an apparently small area, this shop has lots of interesting old finds and just seems to go on and on. No hassling when browsing. A great visit

Newly opened cafe and already hard to get a table. A small but beautiful choice of pies and cakes with coffees and teas etc. Very friendly staff. Clean, modern premises. Seems like Springwood can't have too many cafes!

When we had some estate jewellery to sell Nauthe's treated us with respect and gave us a satisfactory price unlike a high-falutin' jeweller's in Sydney!

It always surprises me that I can go round a huge shopping centre in search of shoes and find nothing but come to Hunter's and always get what I need

This shop is crowded with goodies and a little overwhelming when you first go in. But the staff are helpful and I am now a regular customer with discount provided at the till. Great stock

Great value meals served quickly and with a smile. Small fish and chips $10. Chips are the best around. Trivia night every Wednesday with generous prizes supplied by Tavern.

Approximate cost: $20

This review is for The Paragon Restaurant And Chocolate Manufacturer, Katoomba NSW

Unlike many people, my experiences have never been all that great at the Paragon. It is a classic and well known cafe in Katoomba and is always busy but I wonder if it is because of its long standing existence rather than the actual experience? Buying chocolates at the front of the store is great but you have to fight your way to the back in the hope of finding a table in the cafe. Everything is old and dingy and staff were not particularly helpful. On both occasions we left before getting our food. Not particularly impressed with the menu either. This could have been so much better - the potential is definitely there.

This interesting toyshop sells only the classic and traditional toys and games. It is an interesting place for kids and adults alike. A huge range of jigsaws available for the puzzle enthusiast.

One of the very best for classy, and expensive homewares - if you can afford the prices then you can fill your home with beautiful accessories. If you can't afford it, then browsing will give you pleasure. Sheer luxury.

A cook's dream! This little shop is choc-o-block full of kitchen accessories - pans, aprons, utensils, recipe books and more. If you are looking for something unusual, chances are this shop will have it or can get it for you. Ideal spot to purchase gifts for baking friends
