I broke down half a dozen houses from this mechanic's workshop, so took a chance on them.
I'm glad I did.
They fixed the immediate problem quickly and for reasonable cost. They told me what needed fixing soon to prevent a recurrence. And they gave me a concrete idea how much the later job is going to cost.
Not only would I go back to them (and will for the later job) but I'd recommend them.

Went there on a Tuesday night for dinner, so the trivia was dominating the pub. Tried sitting outside at first but mozzies drove us inside (certainly not anything the pub can be blamed for). The food was pricey for pub nosh and although my friend's steak was quite good, my cutlets were dry and crunchy, which was a bit disappointing.
The pub itself was nice and comfortable, and probably because of the trivia, was very busy - barely a spare table in the joint.
I'd go back there, because it's local. And I hope in future they redeem some of their (minor) flaws.
