Very fair pricing and very helpful. I recently got my car serviced there and had to go back twice to fix a couple of things and he didn't charge me at all for the extra work! Always easy to get in to and friendly customer service.
Rude owner, very unprofessional. The state of my car ignition still hanging open and over charged for the labour time. Owner refused to put ignition cover back on properly and became aggressive towards me for query of the job done.

Then after I call the owner the next day and asked why he broke my ignition cover, he laughed and said I was the second women he robbed yesterday and then was sarcastic to me admitting he was coming off ice and was struggling at work. Goes to show his big ego and mouth will bring him undone.
I broke down half a dozen houses from this mechanic's workshop, so took a chance on them.
I'm glad I did.
They fixed the immediate problem quickly and for reasonable cost. They told me what needed fixing soon to prevent a recurrence. And they gave me a concrete idea how much the later job is going to cost.
Not only would I go back to them (and will for the later job) but I'd recommend them.

i have been using Hawkins mechanical for years now and have always received excellent service and value for money!
It took 3 weeks of trial and Error on the mechanics part to still not have a solution to our car breaking down. 3 weeks on and off being towed and calling NRMA to bail us out...
We were charged $30 for a courier to drive a part from Wickham to Lambton so that he could Trial it rather than ivestigating the exact cause.
We had also paid $495 for brake lights and cruise control + Window mechanism + door actuator to be fixed.
Before we even left the mechanic the actuator was not working properly and it had to go back a second time for the same thing to be fixed...
Finally, when we decided to take our business elsewhere he got rather rude and would not give my my $20 change (from the $50 i handed him to pay for the courier) till i had listen to him make excuses for his incompetence. i ended up leaving without my change to avoid further problems.

Mechanical Repairs fixed my car, they were very prompt & did not keep me off the road very long. Accommodating while you are waiting. Great to talk to about car problems.
