I used to shop regularly at Eckersley at Erina. I would buy my Drafting supplies from them. They used to have great service and discounts too. A while ago, I ordered my Rotring ink cartridges from them ( as I would normally do ) and the Saleswoman said to me, “ You’re lucky!” “ this is the last one left in Australia” “ we won’t be able to get any more of these ever. They have stopped making them”. I was completely in shock. That night, I searched other suppliers in Sydney and was told that this is not true. They have plenty in stock and are constantly buying them from Germany. I have changed suppliers now and have never been back to Eckersley since.

My wife and I went to this cafe yesterday for a simple cup of coffee each and a piece of banana bread. Sounds simple, but the coffees came out without the heated-up banana bread. we could do nothing else but drink our cuppa without the bread ( in preference to drinking a cold cup ) ..... I waved the number on a stick around till finally I got the staff members attention. I asked where the banana bread was... they said it will come soon. by then we had both finished our coffee and had to eat the bread/cake without enjoying our coffee with it. Sadly, this is not the only time this has happened to us at this Café. It happened the previous time we were there a few months prior. We obviously won't be going back there.
