My wife and I went to this cafe yesterday for a simple cup of coffee each and a piece of banana bread. Sounds simple, but the coffees came out without the heated-up banana bread. we could do nothing else but drink our cuppa without the bread ( in preference to drinking a cold cup ) ..... I waved the number on a stick around till finally I got the staff members attention. I asked where the banana bread was... they said it will come soon. by then we had both finished our coffee and had to eat the bread/cake without enjoying our coffee with it. Sadly, this is not the only time this has happened to us at this Café. It happened the previous time we were there a few months prior. We obviously won't be going back there.

Yummy, fresh food and a great selection with some menu items I haven't seen at other cafes. Great size meals too.
Great atmosphere and outlook over the Hive area and sitting out on the verandah is great as you almost forget you are in a shopping centre as it is quieter and away from all the foot traffic.
Definitely will be back!

The breakfast here is quite nice. A popular place due to being at Erina Fair shopping centre so when we went it was a fairly long wait for breakfast to actually arrive at our table. The staff are friendly and the food hot and fresh.

Have visited Sage quite a few times now and find the food fresh and of good quality. Friendly staff however have found that every time I have had breakfast and ordered coffee with my meal it has arrived after the meal!

Went to Sage for breakfast and found it lovely with a few exceptions. They didn't have some items on the menu despite the visit being early in the day without much customer traffic. The waitress was very nice about it and attempted to offer a solution but I ended up with strange items such as guacamole instead of avocado. Despite this, the food was nice. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the plate presentation was fabulous. The atmosphere is wonderful - it's in a great location with a good seating situation to look out over the hive. The selection of tea was incredibly good and I found myself trying new things. Perhaps a little more costly then you'd expect but still an overall great cafe.

I love that this cafe has a little extra 'mini me' cafe just a few doors away from the 'mother cafe'. It's called Sage Express so if the Sage Cafe on the corner near the escalators is packed out (which it often is because it's great!) then you can always grab something simple from their menu from the Sage Express (near KMart) where you'll get polite and friendly service. The main 'mother cafe' Sage Cafe is very cool because it has an indoors section and an outdoors section which is a wooden-floored verandah area overlooking the open area of Erina Fair, Hoyts and the other restaurants and playground downstairs. Like I said, it's often packed because it's got good food, fair prices and it's simply got that special 'buzz' that some cafes seem to have. Well worth a visit but get there early to beat the crowd!!

It's a little pricy compare to other 4 cafes within 50m. But the ambiance and food are good. It has nice outdoor area where you can overlook the Hive and enjoy fresh air.

Very nice place to have lunch, dinner or just enjoy a cup of coffee with a cake. They lack service when its busy but overall all is nice. Head for tables with sofas as its so much more comfy and relaxing than chairs.

The food is always great and reliable service! Its one of my favourite places to go as I know the food will be wonderful quality.
