LOVED dinner at the Bowlo.
Service was laid back and friendly, and super efficient.
The kids meals were proper food, and all the food came nice and fast.
Dessert was divine.
Perfect chilled out vibe if you have kids- they have a playroom, and the kids can also run around outside (although need to stay off the bowling green)
Highly recommend.
Really enjoyed a visit to the Thursday Plantation.
The rainforest walk was beautiful, although mozzie laden, and sadly the insect repellent did not work for us.
The movie was out of date, with much of the information no longer relevant.
A walk around the store was informative, and there were some great specials to be had on products.
My boys enjoyed the maze.
Our family enjoyed a fantastic visit to Macadamia Castle. We played mini golf, went to the reptile and bird shows, and enjoyed the playground.
Plenty to see and do
We ordered takeaway fish and chips to eat by the river.
The service was friendly and efficient, and the chips were crispy and tasty.
Stopped in to grab a couple of sushi rolls and beef fried rice.
The staff were super friendly and took time to chat with us.
Had a FANTASTIC time here. Kids loved the vertical slide.
The planetarium was awesome.
Plenty to keep everyone engaged, even the littlest in the family, in the designated 'Kaleidoscope' area.
Pub meal suited our party of 7, including 3 kids, just fine.
Kids meals were brought out first, though annoyingly they had finished by the time our meals arrived 25 minutes later.
Chicken parma was very tasty; chips were nice but soggy.
Bar service was fast, but meals seemed to be quite slow, although it was a busy Friday night.
Divine dinner with our party of 7, including 3 kids.
They have a fantastic kids menu which is great value at $15, and includes a main, dessert and drink. It's actual 'proper' food, not just the usual sorry chips and nuggets- the kids loved it.
I had the Tonkatsu rolled pork and it was incredible. Sides of cauliflower gratin and beans did not disappoint.
Very happy with our stay at Booth Street Cottage.
Was nice and toasty warm when we got there as the heaters had been turned on for us.
Quality furnishings and decorations. Lovely MOR toiletries.
Soft fluffy towels.
The bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud.
A high chair was provided which made life easier.
Nice and close to everything you want in Bendigo.
The Skylark Room is the newest cafe inside Burrinja.
They have one highchair and a small amount of kids toys (important to know if you have kids like I do!)
My companion and I had baked potatoes for lunch. Coffee was enjoyed. Unfortunately no loose leaf chai, so opted for a hot chocolate instead, which was ok.
Enjoyed a stroll around the gallery afterwards.
