Booked two slushie machines for a 50th in Perth. The machine was dropped off without cups or straws, & incorrect flavours. As soon as we filled one machine it leaked out all over the floor. Called the after hours number & was told they were '...too far away to come back. Just empty the machine & check the seal & go to Coles for some cups & straws'. I said I wasn't happy with this response & was told to ring on Monday to organise a partial refund. Many emails, phone calls & lies (I'll get the boss to ring you back/ the manager is out of the office/we'll refund the money etc.) later, I decided to contact my bank. I had to fill out a form, & provide phone records, & copies of emails & texts. I also directed the bank to their online reviews which showed that faulty, poor quality products, poor service & blatant dishonesty are how these guys operate. During the dispute process they charged my card again! My bank noticed this & contacted them immediately. They did reverse this second transaction a couple of days later, but I made sure that I cancelled my card. It took nearly four months for the bank to resolve the issue (I assume they held up the investigation as much as possible), but I got my money back. So, my advice to everyone who has a disappointing experience with this company in Perth - do not give up! Pursue the matter with your bank. Eventually, these guys will have to either lift their game or close down. [Redacted inflammatory comment]
