I shop with Kogan.com quite frequently. I've had some issues, but, unlike other stores (online or not) I haven't had issues with their staff which is something quite irregular for me. They are an online store that tries their best at offering great products at some of the cheapest prices around. Due to this, some quality can be lost. But, they're warranties cover just about any issue you may have due to them being an online store. I have even had to do a return through them which was, annoying, yet thankfully, uneventful. Their staff have been quite quick to reply (sometimes in minutes) through email which was quite surprising considering the number of customers they could be dealing with at once. I have just recently bought a TV through them at a fantastic price for the size in a pre-sale sale and It's fantastic. The only reason I took a star from quality is because the speakers aren't quite up to standard with some vibrations coming from the housing.

Overall. A Great experience for someone who normally has a lot of problems with customer service.

For a company that has such great value. They have such horrible customer service. I was constantly talked over. I was constantly ignored and dismissed. The customer service representatives I spoke with (even the manager!) were extremely rude and arrogant to the point that just barely into a 24 month contract I was forced to go the ombudsman and report them in order to be released from my contract because I was not going to put up with 24 months of being treated as if I had no control over what happened in regards with my account. Many of the staff were rude and unwilling to put me onto supervisors/managers. If you do have an account, pray that you don't have to speak to the customer service for anything.

Quality of their Phone and internet service is not able to be matched (until the NBN is released nation wide. However, when it comes to dealing with their customer service representatives. Good CSR staff are few and far beyond. I have had the majority of phone calls be nothing but infuriating. Some of which I have known more about what is going on than the staff themselves. I've had lots of arrogant staff that act as though they own me. I've made several complaints none of which have change much of anything in the company. I even spent 8 hours on the phone one day several years ago having the "Run around" going from one department to the next and in some cases back the starting department. I've been hung up on unnecessarily lots of times. My complaints are almost endless there are so many. I had always been with Telstra from my first mobile. I had avoided all other companies as much as possible. All I can say is, for the value you're basically better off finding a company that has good customer service and better value. There are more than enough ISPs and telephone providers out there that your time would be best spent finding a better company until Telstra realise that their customers are more important. I am now avoiding Telstra as much as I possibly can and doubt I will ever go back.
