I go out for breakfast once a month with a group of friends and this was our choice last month. Situated in a good spot & has tables outside, although we didn't sit outside as it was a little cold that day. Staff were friendly and efficient but the restaurant wasn't very crowded.
I judge most brekky places by their Eggs Benedict. Spinach was included (some places have it as an extra) and the general price was about average. The eggs were poached perfectely, it was tasty and served in a timely manner.
I buy most of my supplies from them, especially bird seed in bulk. The bird seed is far better quality and price than anything you buy in a supermarket. I've found the staff pleasant to deal with and helpful.
I've never bought a pet from here but have sold birds to them. Not sure if I'll keep doing so as I think that some of the birds are overcrowded and show signs of stress.
The only dry cleaners I trust in Rowville. I come here several times every year with all my teens school blazers and cadet uniforms. They manage to get out all sorts of stains that the boys manage to get on their blazers. Good value, quality and service.
Great little Chinese restaurant in the shopping centre where you can eat in or take away. You can sit at the few tables within their restaurant or the food court. They have the standard snacks like dim sims and prawn toasts or meals with rice or noodles. Love their satay chicken often just on its own.
After recent renovations the place looks revamped but continues the same slow service. I haven't eaten in, only taken away and if you want a snack it's best to choose something that's just been cooked otherwise you don't know how long it's been sitting in the warming trays.
Good reasonably priced coffee though at $3.20
Had a lovely lunch here today. Great coffee and great service; the waitress came past our table several times to check that our meals and drinks were fine and to give us a bottle of water. Coffee price was also reasonable and even better with a loyalty card where we got 2 for the price of one. The cost of the food, however, was a bit pricey. I think I paid about $16 for a sandwich and a few chips on the side.
After a busy Father's Day yesterday we didn't want to cook in the evening and picked up a Family pack and some salad. Beautifully cooked moist chicken and yummy chips. It's great 'fast food'. The kids think they're getting takeaway and the adults are happy for a roast dinner.
I have been taking my kids to these optometrists for the past 10 years. They're not local for me but worth the drive - initially to find a behavioural optometrist and now for their excellent service and professionalism. Their glasses can be pricey though.
I love everything about Jim's. I love the noise, the crowd, how lively it is and especially the food. Beautifully cooked Greek food and plenty of it. I don't think I've ever seen a menu, they just keep bringing out food as long as you're hungry for it. Jim's is not just a restaurant, it's an experience.
A fully working farm in the suburbs is a great place to take the kids without having to travel far. The staff are friendly and the kids just love it. The kids can handle some of the animals and the shows are in an enclosed area so it's weather-safe.
