This review is for Sandy Bay Beach Woodfired Pizza, Sandy Bay TAS

Whenever I'm asked where my favourite pizza place is in the whole world, I say this store. The pizzas are incredibly gourmet, smelling of woodsmoke straight out of the oven. The shop is very small and crowded, so it's good to buy take away and walk the 20 metres to the beach and eat there. The prices are quite high and often because the store is busy you get easily overlooked for service, but the pizza is definitely worth it!

Dr Miller was very helpful and offered several alternatives for my mouthguard in order to get around health insurance. His offices say he has the lowest prices in town for Dentures and mouthguards. I've always been seen to promptly and am very happy with the service and the products.

The staff and dentists are always friendly and willing to help out. This clinic is very professional and has a relaxing waiting area. The dentist I saw was very helpful and always gives me several treatment options for bigger procedures. I would definitely come back.

This place bulk bills so it is very convenient for me. There are a variety of doctors and the staff are always kind at the front desk. However I've found that sometimes reception staff don't agree on the same thing which causes confusion ie forms to be signed, items to be dropped off etc.

The food here has always been top notch. The butter chicken is DIVINE and I also love their lamb korma. They also do a yummy mango lassi. The service is a bit of an issue. The waiters are always keen to help out and enthusiastic, but many of them don't speak fluent English so asking about the menu or any other question usually results in confusion. The food always arrives promptly.

This review is for Maha Latchmi Indian Sweets And Catering, Fortitude Valley QLD

This place is truly unique - forget all you knew about 'Indian' food, these guys do the best Indian sweets, a side to Indian food not seen in the usual food court Indian takeaway. They sell curries but the sweets are what you come for - starting from $1-$2, they are flavoured so carefully and delicately and taste DIVINE. I will definitely return.

This review is for Ginga Sushi Bar, South Brisbane QLD

verified email - 08 May 2009

Down the road from it's big sister restaurant, the sushi bar is very busy as a glass door connects it and the cinema. It's a bit squashed when you sit down and there's not much room for your bags. However there is a large variety of sushi on the train, although look out carefully for the colour coded plates - the cheapest one and an expensive one share a similar pigment. The sushi was freshly prepared and good quality, especially the fried tempura. However when I went noy many desserts went through the train.

I have been here twice for yum cha and have been pleasantly surprised - despite the restaurant looking packed and loud and crowded, you still get served food constantly and the logistics of moving people through the restaurant are well worked out. Also a big plus is the self serve yum cha area where you can get what you want instead of leaving it up to chance and which trolley gets to you first. The food is good quality and despite it being noisy, I thoroughly enjoyed both visited. Just arrive early.

This review is for Flowers Of The World, South Brisbane QLD

Although this is a florist and cafe in one, I have only ever used the cafe section, never bought flowers. I went once with friends for coffee. The service was good - things were brought to the table quickly. The plates were pretty and stylish and the whole place had a relaxed feel. HOWEVER - one event happened that has put me off going there forever - I asked whether they had Italian hot chocolate. The staff member said 'no, we only have the black and gold stuff' (For those who don't know Black & Gold is like Home Brand). I was horrified that cheap, low quality supermarket coco power was used in the cup I paid quite a few dollars for. So despite the good atmosphere and the decent service, I will not be returning.

This review is for Suncrane Japanese, Toowong QLD

These guys have good value meals such as Curry and Katsu. You can also watch your noodles being stir fried in the large glass window. They do use alot of rice as filler in your food. The sushi quality is average and the price is cheaper than some. I prefer their hot cooked meals and I don't think their sushi is their strong point. Their nooodle soups also taste a bit bland sometimes.
