The woodfired pizzas from this place are to die for. We had 2 large pizzas with half and half toppings on both. The seafood one was divine, the supreme style was awesome in fact they were all tremendous. Each pizza cost $20 each and got some garlic bread pizzas for $5. It was a great meal to feed 5. Well worth the visit if in Hobart.

Approximate cost: $20

I have never tried wood fired pizza before. This place sounds fantastic. The prices seem a bit expensive, but will have to check it out for myself.

Fantastic pizzas and salads!
Until I moved interstate in 2009 I had been a regular customer since they first opened.
Deeply miss this place, will be the first dinner I have next time I visit Hobart!

Approximate cost: $18

Has to be one of the best pizza's we've ever eaten! We were only in Hobart a week, and ate dinner there twice!!

Delicious pizza, lovely people, dining room is a little cramped, but I'd sit on the floor if I got to eat this pizza lol.

Delicious wood-fired pizzas!! The restaurant itself is, as other reviews have stated, very cramped, but the pizzas are delicious, and there is a huge choice of toppings.

Very yummy wood fired pizza. Big range, always delicious. Inside the restaurant is very cramped, but lovely to eat outside during the summer.

The recent reviews on Womow reminded me to revisit this place on my return to Hobart. I am glad that I did! As other reviewers mention the pizza is quite pricey although no more than other gourmet places in Hobart. There are some things that offset the costs which is nice. No corkage, bring your own wine and they will provide glasses for you (there is a Big Bargain bottle shop right nearby at 621 - 623 Sandy Bay Road). Chilled tap water is provided free (bottle in the fridge) with glasses. They also have a frequent pizza card - so in three pizzas you can get a garlic bread, seven (I think) and its salad. And at 10 you get a free pizza. It appears cumulative. The pizzas are very tasty, although I prefer mine crisper so I plan to ask them to cook mine a little longer next time. They do not taste as “heavy” as the chain bought ones and are better ingredients. Yum! They have tables inside but its very pokey - seats around 12 from memory. There are also tables outside in good weather. They seem to do half and half readily, so if you can't choose between two types you do not have too. The pizzas are pretty filling so the best value seems to be (at least for two people) a main pizza and a small dessert pizza. I think from memory it was roughly $30-35 for that, adding on the cheap plonk and it's a pretty good value all up (hence my rating). Lovely location right near the beach should you want to eat picnic style. There are a few niggly things they could improve on. The floors need a little bit of a cleaning, and a little bit of a spruce up would not go astray. Also the place is small so when it gets busy it crowds. As a warning the toilets are the public ones a short walk away, so you need to factor that in but that's no biggie. The service seemed fine, a little hurried but really the pizza is the star here. All in all you could do far worse. Its worth going back to again and again – and that's not something you can say about every Pizza place in Hobart! I know I will be back.

Whenever I'm asked where my favourite pizza place is in the whole world, I say this store. The pizzas are incredibly gourmet, smelling of woodsmoke straight out of the oven. The shop is very small and crowded, so it's good to buy take away and walk the 20 metres to the beach and eat there. The prices are quite high and often because the store is busy you get easily overlooked for service, but the pizza is definitely worth it!
