I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this store! There is never anyone to be found when you've a query (except in the electronics department - sometimes). The quality of the clothing is cheap, nasty and mostly polyester and nylon fabrics which are just too hot for Tamworth summers - and the prices for what they are - unacceptable. Plain clothes security follow everyone around like their criminals - and think no-one knows they are there - and it is insulting to say the least!

They sometimes have cheap mobile phones, which is the best I can say about them, but the after sales service is absolutely rubbish and waiting for a follow-up on any ordered item - forget about it! I will never shop with these people again.

I was referred to Collins bros by the paint shop across the road. I have passed this store so many times and didn't even know it was there. very convenient for those who don't want to go to the larger, edge of town stores, particularly if transport is an issue as all local bus runs pass by this store! Their prices are as good as, if not better than the larger hardware stores. The guys are friendly and extremely helpful and not at all condescending if you've no idea what you need. I needed some swing bolts and they pulled apart four packets of pre-packaged bolts, nuts & washers to give me the exact sizes, types and number I needed - and charged me a whole dollar! Excellent service, a small local, family owned & operated business that has been around for decades! Who knew!?! Good old fashioned service in a good old fashioned store. I will definitely be supporting them with my trade from now on! Highly recommend this business in every way.

Jarrad Campbell turned our leaking toilet cistern from an unwanted water feature into an every day, perfectly functioning loo in just fifteen minutes. (Two other plumbers from two different companies before him failed miserably at it!)

Very happy with his service and his swift follow-up on the call for his services. Came within twenty minutes of calling him. Neat, clean, polite, unobtrusive and a no mess plumber (with a cute sense of humour too!). Much appreciated, highly recommend his services. [His business card says he also does drainage, gas-fitting and roofing too!]

Needed a kitchen power point replaced. They came within twenty-four hours and took five minutes for two of them to do the job. Minimal disruption. Polite, quiet and efficient. Great guys. Highly recommend!

Not impressed! I have used Eagle Boys for years (in Peel Street Tamworth) and never been disappointed. The South Tamworth branch however has a manager that needs an attitude adjustment - a phone in system that is ridiculous AND they don't honour their own prices as listed online! Also - beware - when you order online - it states the delivery deals are so much, then when you press order - it ADDS ON a delivery price as extra on top of the 'delivery deal'. It's false advertising and I'm not impressed. It took 1hr & fifteen minutes from order to delivery to get three pizzas which ended up costing just over $35.00. A rip off and not worth it. Will never use them again for my pizza! (The one saving grace was the sweet little girl on the telephone. She deserves a better job with better people who would appreciate what they have in her.) Also the meat lovers pizza was clearly reheated and VERY chewy, while the other two were comparatively fresh.

Woolworths have finally implemented online shopping and home delivery services. There is such a high demand, particularly for home delivery services in Tamworth. Woolworths delivery fees start at$13.00 and reduce as the size of your order increases. You get a personal shopper, can request specific details of things you require, such as 1 really ripe tomato and ten green ones (for example!). You can leave specific notes for your delivery person and select from a multitude of delivery times, from as early as 8am - through to as late as 10pm, which is fabulous. And... corny as it sounds, t's fun to see that great big delivery truck with the green W that you see on the ads on tv pull up in front of your house too! :) The prices of items aren't too bad and you can really shop to your budget - WITHOUT distractions. Highly recommend this for full time workers or single/stay at home mums! (no more 'mystery' items placed in the trolley by sneaky little fingers!)

If you need a fabulous solicitor (barrister) and just want the job done cleanly, without fuss this is the place to go. Tony Hodgson is a man with a big heart and lethal law skills. He will always try to resolve every issue outside of court and for as little expense to the client as possible.

We had a problem with a solicitor in Tamworth - they tried to cheat us on a will - A.P. Hodgson & Associates took up our case, investigated every aspect THOROUGHLY and found they were cheating us out of tens of thousands we would otherwise not have known was even there!

He is also a great family law lawyer and not scared of throwing punches to get the best result in the best interests of the kids!

If I had to sum them up - I would say this solicitor is about JUSTICE for the little people! I highly recommend their services to anyone. They are also able to deal internationally if you have need of such.

We had our smoke alarms installed by SATS. It took 15 minutes to install two and cost $25.00 per unit. SATS check them and install new batteries every twelve months. They do a fast, efficient job & the boys are always friendly and polite. It's a stress free way to take care of house safety because they take care of everything and give you a ring to make a mutually acceptable time to do the yearly checks when it's time.

Grassy glass come when they say they will and always let you know in advance of when they will be there. They handle the glass properly with one of those suction thingy's and not with bare hands. I had my glass slide door and a panel in my front door replaced by them. It took under and hour and it was same day service as promised.

We also had panels requested to mount a small model in glass. They cut the panels to EXACT measurements. I highly recommend them for any glass needs. Reliable, polite, efficient and they don't make mistakes - of any kind.

NOT impressed. Got this bloke in for a quote to fix a leaking roof. He called three of his mates, all of whom stomped all over the roof and cracked several tiles, which subsequently had to be replaced. His quote was EXTREME I discovered after getting several others. He advised cleaning out the gutters to help in fixing the leak and said it would take several blokes about ten hours and quoted a fee accordingly. The cleaning of the gutters only widened the problem and made the leak worse (which he couldn't find the source of, by the way). The gutters took one bloke three hours to clean and the source of the leak has been found by a reputable (honest and well priced) roofer and carpenter.

Sorry, but I cannot recommend anyone who pork barrels.
