overall good experience with Elad and Shay> When I made original booking, I was not told that the arrival time would be a three hours window. I expected exact arrival time, with was not the case. so a bit inconvenient. other than that , good service!!!
Kept in contact, confirmed,. took care with my items! No issues

I went there for lunch after i read some reviews on WOMOW and was not disappointed. I've been to many Asian food places but that was the best fried rice I've had as far as I can remember! The prices are great, the decor is really beautiful. There are only about 6 tiny tables and the place is really small, but it was very busy and I was told I would have to wait 15 mins for takeaway (which seems a bit long, but worth it- the food is great) and sure enough, I got my order in just under 15 mins. Will definitely be back there- I just wish they were a bit bigger, so I could go there for dinner with friends.

I went in to have my hair cut and styled for a wedding. I wanted a "choppy" look, and was happy they were open on a Sunday. Sam- the young guy who runs the salon did my hair cut. He suggested better shampoo, but did not specifically advertise his salon's one. I asked for the layers to be choppy and not smooth, which he did, but although I explained i didn't want "steps" in my hair, i ended up having them, because the layers were not all different lengths but of one or two lengths, which made it look like steps, what I actually wanted was layers all over my hair, different lengths. He was quite confident with my hair and did fantastic styling, which even held throughout the next day, even though my hair usually doesn't hold well at all.
Over all - I think he did his best, but to be frank, i didn't think he had the creativity and skill my hair cut needed. He also asked too give him a call and let him know how the hair held, which was nice of him, but I never got around to it.
I'd go there again, but not for cut.

I went there and had my hair done by Sheree. Her and her mother operate the salon. She's a really nice girl and did my hair for a special occasion- a wedding. She made it look fantastic- I got so many compliments on the day! I felt like she knew what she was doing, which made me feel comfortable.

I rang them as they were nearby. I was doing a renovation and had down-lights installed all over. Plus I had to rewire the half the house, as the electrical wires I had were unsafe, because they were around 50 years old.
The boys came and fixed it all in one day. It's a family business, from what I understood. Tom and Max (0414 500 793) are brothers and they had an apprentice. Very quick, good quality work. (They came out the next day after I rang). Honest, friendly work and when I asked a question they were always happy to answer.
They install air conditioners too, but I am happy with my old one :) Would definitely call them again if I had any more electrical problems.

I went there after my male colleagues boasted about how good the service was, plus it's not too far from my work. The front tire of my small Yaris went flat and I replaced it with a spare. I was going to get the flat one fixed. Initially they gave me a quote: $32 to repair a tire and $65 for front wheel alignment, which was fine.
When I got there Alex (the guy there) had a look at the flat tire and said I will need a new one, cos I've been driving on the flat tire for too long and now its beyond repair. This was fine. Then he said that I need a specific brand of tire for my car (a lie and I knew it) and a new tire will cost me $220!!! He also said I cannot use the tire I fitted on the car, as it is unsuitable brand and will drag the car sideways (a lie, cos my dealership where I bought the car new gave me that tire specifically for my car).
My colleagues at work were shocked and so was I. They all agreed with me that this place is ripping me off. I told Alex at Beaurepaires that it was a ridiculous price for a tire and he said he could give me a discount of $10.
I am so angry that so many mechanics and tire service places are still happy to ripp someone off just because they are female and supposedly unaware of the market prices in the motor industry. I rang my local repairs and they were happy to do it for much cheaper.
Very disappointed with the Beaurepaires service.

This review is for Central Cafe, Gungahlin ACT

These people are the original owners of the famous Central Cafe in Queanbeyan. The place is famous for it's huge country-style meals. The Mix Grill and Lemon Chicken being the most popular. The old Central (now sold and is still doing great) got lots of publicity and became a major attraction of the area, with celebrities and radio shows visiting. During the fires that went on in Canberra a while back- the Central looked after the fire- fighters and volunteers, providing them with all their lunches and dinners for less than half the cost. I know- cos I lived there at the time, and went there quite often.
Last year they sold the place and now have a new Central Cafe in Gungahlin. Still HUGE meals, still great value, taste and hopefully service as good as it was in Queanbeyan (they are apparently having just started out there are having trouble getting enough great staff in). A beautiful new place and still as bisy! I went there and all the staff there at the time were family members, because they were short staffed. Whenever I come down to Canberra (I live in Melbourne), I always visit them and the owners, Phil and Vic already know me. They always say hello!

This review is for Heidelberg Fancy Dress, Reservoir VIC

OK, the only really good thing about these people is the variety of costumes and the ability to browse through them on-line.
I found them on the Internet and although I live SE Melbourne, drove all the way up there, which took me 1.5 hours after work (I had to leave work early). When I got there I knew I wanted the Marie Antoinette dress for me and a mask and a mask for my partner (for a masquerade ball).
The rental prices shocked me. A lot more expensive than the other costume shops I had a look in. It was very buisy- full of people on a friday night. There were not enough customer assistants, so I had to wait for someone to help me and then she said: I'll find you some masks to have a look at and dissapeared. I waited and waited then another lady came up to me and asked if I was ok and I showed her the lady I was waiting for- but when this girl spoke to her- she said: I didn't say I'd find you some masks! They're right there on the wall anyway, you can have a look yourself! (I hadn't noticed them before) I thought that was a bit rude.
Another thing is the quality of the costumes- awful, nothing like on the website. My dress was supposed to have white and silver colours, but it was so worn out and unclean that the white was grey-ish and the silver threads had pulls all over the dress. Plus the underskirt was so worn out that the rope that kept it on was almost torn out of the material. But I had no choice, because I needed this for the next night so I borrowed it.
The shop is not open on Sundays, so I had to return it on Monday or lose my deposit. Even though I lived so far away and asked them if I could possibly drop it by on Tuesday, which would work with my work hours, but they said no- I would lose the deposit.
On the night wearing the dress, the underskirt completely failed (due to the rope that tied it gave out because it was so wear-damaged) and fell off right on the dance floor! In fear I had to saw it all up on Sunday by hand- i sew it back into the underskirt and fixed all the damage there was before I even rented it. I didn't want to lose the deposit.
My boyfriend had to return it on monday, as I couldn't and said he complained to them about that but they said there was nothing wrong with the underskirt, as it was all sewn up (I did that!).

This review is for Westpac Banking Corporation, Melbourne VIC

I had an account with WestPac once and they stuffed up so much (giving me fees for stuff that I didn't do) and the service was horrible, so I closed my account. I'm with St George now and have been for years and they are fantastic.
But now I'm working for a finance company and they bank with WestPac because of great service fees. I wish they didn't. They have stuffed up with our clients so many times! Once (a couple of months ago) they direct debited our customers twice in one go! All our customers who didn't have enough money in their bank account for 2 payments got rejection fees, which we had to deal with! AND all the understandably disappointed people who rang in cos they got so much money taken out- it was a huge mess. On top of that- it took WestPac ages to fix it all up and return the money to the customers. Plus the customers were not happy with us, cos they didn't understand that it was the bank's fault.
What a mess of a bank. I'm disappointed that they are joining with St George, but maybe they will get some lessons on how to be more professional.

We went in without a reservation late on a Friday night. I was very quiet and intimate. We had one of those booths, where you had to take your shoes off. I was very comfortable!
I wouldn't say the decor was really good- it had a bit of a run-down look but the atmosphere was good. The prices were a bit higher than at a cafe, but the food was worth it.
The food was great! We loved it. I had their fish soup and a selection of sushi. We also had their pickles. Fantastic, fresh taste. Great flavor, the soup was my favorite.
The plum wine was delicious- wow! And the Saki was great too. Very intimate atmosphere, the waitresses seemed happy to be there and chatted to the chef quietly. Very friendly. Will go back there again for sure.
