Have been here before on a couple of occasions. Great staff who know their stuff, recommended wines matches were spot on as was quantities with the food order. The place was packed but the service was fantastic, discrete and timely. Plates rolled out at the right time.Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, duck spring rolls and braised duck in master stock with a serve of asian greens and rice. Cosy yet friendly atmosphere that we could not fault in any way. Looking forward to the next visit.

This caravan park is such a awesome campsite, ive camped here with the family twice on our holiday vacations and its got so many things to enjoy and do here. The park is close to beach pool and lake. Can fish swim canoe. The local park next to the caravan park has fitness stations for the fitness healthy kids and adults can ride their bikes around the local park as well also has climbing areas and swings for kids and large area for ball games etc. The caravan park runs activities for children over the breaks a very safe place from the young to the oldies. Close to shops and resterants no need to use your car once in the park. Catch a bus to the city for a days adventure or just shopping. A very family friendly park. A real pleasure to go and have our yearly holidays and relax and meet people and make lasting friendships.

This park was very clean Organised. We stayed in a cabin and arrived after hours. Our booking details were waiting for us. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was very quiet and although not right in the centre of Geelong it was very easy to get there. Lovely surrounds close to the river and an onsite cafe. Cabins starting from $95 and has games room and swimming pool for the kids, staff made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived.

We first stayed at Paradise Isles in August 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. True to our word, we returned again in 2013 this time with our 4 adult children and partners who were on their first visit. The children shared 2 apartments amongst 6 and stayed for 3 nights whilst we stayed for 7 nights. Like us, our children were just so impressed with the many positive aspects of both the apartments/complex and its location both on Chevron Island and the Gold Coast in general. This time we utilised both the BBQ area and the pool/spa complex. Both areas are kept in meticulous condition and the BBQ has a big plate which easily accommodated both our big family needs and later in the week, for my wife and I. Your self contained apartment has everything you need for any " at home" meals.

We have stayed at Moorings twice now. We've had the same two bedroom apartment both times on request. The view of the river and the town was lovely, as was the glimpse we had of the ocean. The pool area was cosy and clean. It is very close to the shopping and restaurant area (less than 5 minutes walk), and just over the road from a mall with a supermarket to stock up the kitchen. There's also a lovely little cafe for coffee or breakfast just over the road. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. But what really makes this a special place is the friendly staff.

I made a booking for a romantic dinner at the seaduction restaurant and i was so happy and thrilled with the food, staff and service. The atmostphere was amazing, you feel warm and welcome as soon as you walk through the large doors. The service was excellent. I started with the Spanish ham then for mains had the Pork with cannellini bean and the lemon tart for dessert, for the whole 3 course dinner I paid $75 and then I paid $35 for a bottle of red wine.

My family and I stayed here for a week in a cabin. We had a fantastic time and we will return next chance we get. The new management team are warm, friendly and very helpful. When we arrived the cabin was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The kids loved swimming in the pool and loved spotting the koalas in the trees around the park. Being such a short walk, we spent alot of time at Flynns Beach which was great for swimming.

My dad, two dogs and I stayed at the River house for nearly a week before i ended up moving to port macquarie and we had a great time. The house looks old from the outside but inside was a very pleasent suprise. It was spotless. I loved the large back deck. I must say that the staff at Koala tree are the best. Nothing was too much trouble for them. If I have a choice the river house is definatly my favourite out of all the koala tree accommodation.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights recently and we found it hard to fault the place. The only thing we found was water pressure in the shower is not exactly strong but we could live with it. The guys at reception were friendly and accommodating, the rooms are well set out and comfortable - not huge but having the closed in balcony provided that extra bit of space and was a great place to sit and have a few vino's and watch the sunset. The pool, spa and sauna were all very good and a decent size - I loved the pool which was heated enough for chicken me ( when it comes to cold) to swim. The hotel also hires out bikes at a reasonable price which was fun and has free DVD to watch if you want some time in. A wonderful hotel in a great location.
