A small, dingy looking little restaurant that probably does more business in take-away than it does with regular diners. Their battered honey or lemon chicken dishes are sensational, but having said that, I've never had a bad dish there.

We also dined in for a banquet one evening and the food was equally excellent.

The service can often be a little slow, sometimes the person cooking out back seems to be the only one in the place which can get frustrating, even when you've phoned your order ahead you can still get stuck waiting.

Still, the quality of the food is worth the inconvenience.

Steve was recommended to me by someone on twitter and I have to say that to date I have been very impressed. Accurate quotes (no hidden surprises), good quality work and he is always punctual.

I would recommend Steve to anyone as long as it didn't mean he didn't have time to do my garden anymore.

Crust is a little on the more expensive side when it comes to pizza (at least their "Tick" pizza's seem to be and that's the one we tried) but you certainly couldn't fault the quality of the product. Good "real" ingredients and friendly helpful service make it a worthwhile place to try if you're after a pizza.

They also have a weekly promotion on twitter where they give away pizzas every friday to some random lucky winners.

I've only used these guys for takeaway and always come away with heaps more food than you expect (I guess I'm a slow learner).

Having tried several dishes I've never been disappointed with the quality and the staff are always cheerful and friendly.

A lot of different takeaway food businesses have come and gone at this address over the last few years, but I get the feeling these guys will be around for a while.

Highly recommended.

Update 25/12/2010

Since writing this review I have been in contact with John, the manager of this establishment who invited me to give them another try. My wife & I popped in yesterday for breakfast, and met John.

During my conversation with John, we discussed the events of my last review and he assured me that it was the exception rather than the norm.

The staff member whom I was unfortunate enough to encounter on my first visit back in October has since left the business, and the staff and level of service my wife and I encountered before making myself known to John was streets ahead of my previous experience. Efficient, friendly and courteous, it was everything that excellent service should be.

I went for the scrambled eggs and my wife had a ham & cheese croissant and both were fantastic, particularly the relish that came with the eggs.

After meeting with us, John also insisted on refunding what we had paid for our meal, but based on the experience we had yesterday, I will happily return and have revised my ratings accordingly.

I would also like to thank John for taking the time to contact me via WOMOW to try to put right the negative impression I initially had of this establishment.

I stopped in here for breakfast a few weeks back and to be honest I probably won't be heading back in a hurry.

I ordered a coffee and Eggs Benedict which was reasonably priced but I must say it's the first time I've ever had Eggs Benny consisting of Fried eggs with a hollandaise sauce. Not a big fan of it I've gotta say.

The service was pretty poor too. It was early, just on opening, and as I sat down to await my breakfast, a group of Asian tourists approached which drew a disparaging remark from the waitress. When the food was delivered to me it was just plonked on the opposite side of the table to where I was seated, presumably because this made it more convenient to then deliver a coffee to the next customer.

All in all, I would advise anyone looking for an enjoyable breakfast to head somewhere else.

Rather enjoyable dinner experience on a quiet Monday night. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and high quality tasty meals.

The New York Fajitas were sensation and will no doubt be given a repeat run next visit, whilst my wife enjoyed her chicken Enchilada as well.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Stopped in for dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised. The flat bread and garlic aioli entree was fantastic, though very filling, and the mains were cooked to perfection.

I went for the beer battered fish, whilst my wife enjoyed a gourmet pizza. Serving sizes were generous, service was high quality and the pricing was quite reasonable.

The only down side was the noise. There was a large group in and the accoustics of the venue made it difficult to have a quiet conversation.

Would I go back? Definately.

Popped in yesterday for a bit of brunch with my lovely wife after wandering through North Hobart stumbled upon this little place in behind Marti Zucco's.

The place was fairly quiet on a Saturday lunch time which suited us quite well. The waitresses were attentive without being smothering which made the experience quite enjoyable.

My wife had pancakes in a berry and citrus type sauce which she tells me was quite tasty, whilst I was quite impressed by the "Big Breakfast" consisting of poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms, home made sausage and hashbrowns and some grilled tomato.

Will I go back? I can say so with certainty. If you're in the area and looking for somewhere, I can certainly recommend this place.

Dined here last night with some friends and all in all had a pretty enjoyable evening.

The menu had your usual pub fare (Chicken Parma, Steak, Reef & Beef etc) as well as a couple of other options that sounded pretty good too.

A little disappointing that there were only two menus on a table booked for 10, and that despite having a kids menu on the website, no kids menu was available to view on the night.

I can't fault the quality of the food that I had, however my wife did mention that the sweet chilli prawns were a fraction too spicy for her liking.

The service wasn't startling but it wasn't poor either. I'd recommend booking and not heading in too late though as you can get a bit of a line-up at the food order counter at times.

Would I go back? Certainly.

I ordered some invitations for my Mother's surprise 60th Birthday party and I could not be happier with the choice I made.

I didn't really have much idea of what I wanted, so I asked Kodie to come up with a few options as a starting point. She went out of her way to make things easy for me with several amazing designs.

The final product was also exceptional. Rather than just receiving the invitations, they also came with envelopes and each individual invitation had a magnet on the back so it could be stuck on a fridge or filing cabinet.

I would not hesitate to recommend Kanar Kards to anyone who was wanting some custom made invitations.
