I had 5 knives sharpened. Mark was amazing not only at his job but his customer service skills are impeccable too. My knife set was about $500 new purchased about 3 years ago from Myer. They were in need of a sharpen so I googled and found The Knife Doctor. I just got home and used one following Mark working his magic... They are sharper than the day I bought them. I am STOKED. I will be going back for sharpening services and for any new knife needs. He has a great selection and offers great after sales service. Ps value for money and same day service. Top quality. I thought it was going to cost a lot more than it did.

Got a few kitchen knives and two pairs of sewing scissors sharpened as a surprise gift for my mother in law. Service was lovely, fast and reasonably priced, and the knives have a beautiful edge now. My mother in law's going to love them!

When I cam back to pick them up a few hours later, I received excellent service with a quick lesson on how to look after my knives and keep them in top condition. The tip of a cooks knife had been bent in the post and so we left it languishing in a kitchen drawer for ages. One Saturday morning was all it took: now it's properly reshaped and sharpened, all finished in less than two hours. Great work at a great price!

I spoke to Mark by phone to see if my chef's knives could be re-profiled and the bolsters ground. No problem! Dropped them off and they were ready within two hours. Better than new -- beautifully ground and polished. I will definitely be using this service again.
