I came here for a Robert Redfern thing awhile back and have been for a cabaret show for a hens night more recently. Pretty cool, staff are fun and really make the night

I've been going here for years. Lovely, friendly staff and now that they've moved you can always find a place to sit. Hidden away, up a windy stair case. If you're looking for something a bit different, it's kitsch, kitsch and more kitsch!

A very odd place but in a good way !

We had a drink in this rambling old terrace and then watched the comedian Michael Connolly perform. The bar staff were super friendly and pumped up both this act and the Gershwin singer that was on later.

Michael was really great despite a small crowd ("...intimate setting..."), offering a funny, clean and innuendo free set.

One of those acts and places that make the fringe festival a treasure.

Awesome bar - really kooky and different. Cozy throughout. Easy to meet people here as it's basically an old house and it just feels like someone's house party where everyone knows the host.
Cocktail staff were eager to please, and killed the wait time by engaging conversation.
Interesting shows - hit and miss, but as expected with a burlesque bar.

Amazing cabaret shows, delicious cocktails and a beautiful courtyard you can sit in for hours just chatting away. Funky decor and friendly staff make for a fabulous night out.

If not for the drinks or the old fashioned cabaret music you have to get at least a good look a the quirky decoration!! I loved it. All the knick knack, stuff everywhere, well there is a lot to adsorb and look at. Its a fun place and I love to order a tacky Tequila Sunrise to match the atmosphere.

This is a cabaret venue with a great bar lounge area for drinks before a show, just to relax after work or on the weekends.. the decor is out of this world with lots of old dolls, paintings and lights.. not the sort of place you expect to find off Claredon st in (no offense) reasonably yuppy South Melbourne... the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is eccentric/hip... very cool

This establishment is a bar and cabaret venue and does not serve food. Although, if the owners are asked they are often happy for you to bring food in from one of the many fantastic eateries on Clarendon Street.

I love cabaret style entertainment at any time, but this place very nearly takes the cake! fabulous! The drinks are beautiful, and the ambience is really quirky but really chilled.

Super cool - it's like hanging out in your grandma's back garden. Loads of fairy lights and kitsch knick knacks. I love to take my homework to the room upstairs, and sprawl out on the floor. It's very homey! Barmen bring your cocktails on a tray. Everybody is super nice. I like the owners.

Approximate cost: $25
