Terrible value! 1) No price list and an irritating rehearsed reply when you ask for one 2) Emotional blackmail into buying photos, to the point of the guy telling me as I was walking out of the viewing room "Look if you don't tell anyone, I'll include..." 3) Bad photography . Good photos only a result of fluke and a professional space and camera. My toddlers were very active and the photographer took maybe 30 photos in the whole hour as she kept insisting they sit down and pose. She missed countless of amazing moments because she was fed up with them running around, hugging, kissing, laughing.... 4) They convert everything to sepia - I had to ask for colour. 5) Just an overall unprofessional dodgy sales vibe -I'd rather spend $1000 more but have a piece of art.

Very good service here, they always take care of me. The glasses and sunglases range is good - not the biggest I have ever seen, but lots of really nice designer glasses. Most of the people I know end up finding the glasses for them here. I have tried lots of bigger optometrists (e.g. speksavers) but despite the choices, they don't have good quality options. The optometrist here is very very thorough. I'm not sure that he's the best, but he is adamant that you come back and check and double check that everythign is a perfect fit (glasses and contacts). They bulk bill here which is good, but seeing as they're not a chain, they don't seem to have those commercial deals like 2 pairs of glasses for $100. Nevetheless good QUALITY is guaranteed here. They also repair glasses on the spot and they've always got it spot on for me.

Fantastic Vietnamese hawker-style kanteen. Eat in (walk in) or take away. They deliver for $6 anywhere in the CBD. We recently ordered for 15 people at work, a bit of everything on the menu. Everything was fantastically fresh healthy and delicious, and everyone was totally satisfied. Excellent prices and service.

Liek any other Amcal pharmacy. This one is on the smaller side, with much less in terms of cosmetics and body care products. The pharmacists are really nice here - knowledgable and helpful.

Voluntary organisation (not for profit) assisting asylum seekers and refugees in everything from food bank, transport tickets, social services, housing, and of course, legal advice and representation. They also assist people with a protection visa in applying for family visas. Very friendly, passionate organisation with outstanding results. I highly recommend volunteering, as it will give great insight, perspective and experience in this highly contentious and politicised issues in Australia and worldwide.

A liberal-ish Jewish private school providing education from pre-schooling through to VCE. I completed years 5-12 here in 2003. At that time the school was relatively small, humble and offered a warm and spirited environment. Many of the students comprised Eastern European immigrants, and teachers were still adressed on a first-name basis. Whislt the school, at the time, lacked sufficient experience to carry students through VCE, the teachers nonetheleess were excellent, many having postgraduate qualifications and years of industry experience prior to teaching. The motto 'Know and Understand' was well deserved. Overall I remember having fun, and beign encouraged to be intellectually curious at this school. I beleive much has changed, but how much so, I don't know.

I completed my postgraduate diploma in legal practice here in 2010 and was very pleased with everything. It was 5 months on-site training. Everyday was new and different. The teaching consisted of lectures, tutorials and independent study. Teachers were industry professionals, some quite well known. Assessments were relevant and mimicked real-life practice. This course culminated in my admission to practice, at the Supreme Court of Victoria. As a side note this school boasts the fact that it trained Julia Gillard some nearly 20 years ago! As a legal professional I continue my CPD training with Leo Cussen.

The hairdresser was quite a nice young girl, and was very thorough in washing my hair and scalp. The prices here are also quite cheap. Unfortunately this salon doesn't rate very well on anything else. I came in without an appointment and I was served straight away because there were no bookings for another hour. There were 3 chairs with hair surrounding them - none had been cleaned up. The wash basin was uncomforable and bruised the back of my head. There is no inbuilt recliner chair - just an ordinary chair, so I had to really push myself back which got quite painful after a while. Once the chair slid underneath me and I nearly fell off. The girl didn't seem to understand my requet for a volumising blow wave. Not only was the brush really sharp and painful! She blowdried 'down' making the top of my head flat! Pretty pointless aftyer spraying a root uplifter. She achieved good waves at the ends of my hair, but the rest was so-so.

I've had mani/pedis here many times over the past 5 years or so. Always a good result. I don't have fake nails so not sure how they rate in this department. Leather massage chairs great with foot spa. Excellent prices!

Best tarot/medium reading I've ever had (with Luke, several times). Specific, accurate, deep and holistic. I wrote down everything as he was saying it and then kept the piece of paper. Looked back 6 months later and everything was spot on - as detailed as having the back door fixed, and dealing with mice at work. Lovely cafe too - deluxe reading includes cake and tea, beautifully served. This is a gem fo a place, that doesn't have an ounce of that commercial witchcraft nonsense. Simply the best!
