Beware! Do not use this hair salon. Worst colour job ever! Unprofessional. Compketely wwrong colour . Other hair dressers have quoted $575 to correct thrir mistake! Very angry and disappointed.

This callow youth wondered why she bothered. Used to ask her why she didn't go locally. Oh but he is the best cutter in Melbourne, she'd say. I now understand why she made the effort. This is my fourth session with Marc. I would not take my curls anywhere else. Fortunately, he is years younger than me.

I have been going to the South Melbourne salon for years, but after today I will never return. Totally wasted my time, leaving me sitting at the basin for almost 1 hr...because the stylist wasn't ready to cut my hair. I am usually done with a cut and colour in under 2 hrs. It had been nearly 2 hours and they hadn't even started cutting my hair.
So disrespectful to be wasting peoples time. I ended up leaving with just the colour and wet hair that I had to dry off at home.
I'm not sure what went wrong or if there has been a change in who books clients, but it's not good enough to waste people's days and I won't be back

Very professional hairdressers. Excellent value for money. Justin and Skot are outstanding in all that they do. The colour ,the style are discussed and outcome matches discussion. I have been many times and highly recommend these two master craftsmen who take great care in what they do.

These guys know what they are doing. As a stylist myself I’m not the easiest customer or easily pleased but they friggin Rokk my hair each and every time.
They are like family, it’s the experience of visiting a salon you take away with you each and every time.
So if you want the best on all levels, you’ll leave with Amazing hair a smile on your face and a skip in ya walk.

Friendly service and experienced stylists. I usually go as a hair model, so I can have the experience at a lower cost. Coffee is great too!

I have been a customer since early 2000s. Over the past 12 months the good staff have departed, the costs have increased and it's now going to cost me a lot of money to repair the damage they have done. My hair has lost my colour, length and health.

After years of being a dedicated customer I'm extremely disappointed and angry.

Ok held off reviewing this place until I'd been a second time! South Melbourne you Rokk! My only advice is pay extra and get more experienced colourist and stylist it's totally worth it if you can afford it! Not saying who did my hair because worried they might become too popular. Great bunch of people I love these guys and girls they are so nice! Thanks for the vino's as well! Xoxo

Don't go to Katie at Mentone. I paid a lot of money for the worst cut ever! Got it cut for a job interview. Great confidence boosterI was clear they overbooked and I had to wait while she did someone else and she just didn't care. Even when I said I didn't like it. Such arrogance.

Love Rokk Ebony I would come here every week if I could afford it. It is literally my favourite hairdressers ever. All of the staff are so friendly and lovely and look after you with teas and coffee and biscuits. So talented too! <3
