The staff are so skilled they can create a great and flattering shape that can be worn neat and shiny or broken up and messy by using a product and giving it a twist as it dries.
I've had cuts by three different senior stylists and loved them all.
It's a true indulgence to pay for a haircut you love when there are big problems in the world.
The only down side is I think the bosses should make sure they aren't over working the staff - make sure they get their breaks.

I go to Moet and he cuts my hair better than any hairdresser i've ever had. Lovely salon, staff are very attentive. It isn't cheap but you get what you pay for
Highly recommended

I have been going to Rokk Ebony for a number of years. I recently went to another hairdresser to "test the waters" and boy did I regret it! I have booked in for a cut next Friday to fix what was done. I love the staff here as they really work with you to design what will be the best cut, length and colour to compliment your features and to fit with what YOU want. I have never been disappointed by any of the stylists, quite the opposite, but I particularly recommend Moet. I will remain a loyal customer as long as I am in Melbourne!

I went to Rokk Ebony after having received a bad colour from a previous hairdresser. When I went in I told them I wanted very blond hair and a trim. I came out of the salon with darker hair than I had gone in with and very short hair even though I had told them I was growing it. He told me he would style the front and created the most horrendous looking fringe you have ever seen. the colour is awful. I would say my blond has been turned to an ashy grey....far from the white blond I had asked there. The price was ridiculous also. Although I will say....though they were really awful at their job they were nice.

Aside from the price of the hair cut they're great but you get what you pay for. Head massage is awesome and a glass of wine. They also send you an sms reminding you of upcoming appointment.

At the end of my visit I was happy with my hair however I don't think I will be returning since the staff seem to have a slight attitude problem. Upon arriving I was greeted by the only friendly staff member. I was seated and pretty much just sat there until another staff member remembered to bring me some forms to fill out. I filled them out and continued to sit there, until someone remembered I was still there. I was one of two clients in the place so its not like I was waiting because it was busy. The girl washing my hair didn't say one word to me. My hair stylist barely spoke except when his next appointment arrived and he was all smiles to her.

I thought that perhaps it was just me or almost everyone in the place was having a bad day but my partner went there just a few weeks ago and he got the same treatment.

Awful - sums it up well. I'd never go back there. My blonde foils were not done to the root, therefore i walked out looking exactly like i walked in. Rude hairdressers who thought they are it and a bit. Was left at the basin for 25mins because they didn't have anyone to rinse my hair. Mind you there were people standing around chatting, doing nothing. My friend got her haircut at the same time by Joey - well she asked for a trim and she ended up with a huge cut. She walked out with a curly mullet. Joey did what he wanted, not what my friend wanted. She walked out of the salon and cried. Her hair looked terrible.

After my first visit with Anna (colour) and Moet(stylist) I was hooked. Anna delivers an excellent execution in colouring, whether we go for subtle blends of golds and carmels, or add in a dramatic splash of reds. Moet's cuts take advantage of Anna's colouring and deliver true wearability, even during that awkward growing out stage. The entire team at Rokk Ebony ensures your comfort during your appointment.

as soon as i walked in the door i was welcomed very nicely and was offered a drink or something to read quite often

and my hairdresser Phoebe was the friendliest and most nicest hair dresser I have ever come across

she actually asked me to show her a picture of what i wanted my ideal haircut to look like i have had that done before

My regular hairdresser was away and I desperately needed a haircut before attending a wedding, so I went to Rokk Ebony on the recommendation of one of my colleagues. I was able to make an appointment by email, which was very convenient for me as I work odd hours and am usually not available during office hours to call.

The salon itself is very modern, and quite busy. I was well taken care of by Moet, who was friendly and also gave me a gorgeous cut. It was a little more than I usually pay ($85 as opposed to $55), as I had gone with my colleague's suggestion that I use a Principal Stylist rather than a Stylist, but boy was it worth it!

To sum up, Rokk Ebony may cost a little more than what you're currently paying, but I think that quality tells - the number of compliments I've received recently are a great measure of that!
