A great little pizza shop on Northcote. A friend brought me here as he'd had a few good eats. A great range of unique pizzas - I've never seen so many different cheeses on a menu! The bread base was really delicious and cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was busy and friendly. Can get quite busy, though, so you might need to ring if you have a group.

The Pizza's are amazing especially the Tom Cooper which has salmon and salmon roe which I would not normally like even on pizza but this was very moreish. The layout is simple but stylish and the service good. The desert pizza's also fabulous chocolate and fruit on a pizza is yummy.

The pizza's really were my idea of great- thin bases, delicious gourmet toppings that weren't overdone in terms of quantity.
We found the service fine- even though they are incredibly busy. Went with kids (12 + 15) and they were absolutely accomodating.

One of the best pizzas in Melbourne hands down. Lovely bases. Great tasty fresh toppings. They keep it simple, but the ingredients are of high quality. Take away is available, but you have to wait in an area that is the main thoroughfare for service staff, so be prepared to have your feet stepped on as you sit in the chairs!! YOu get to see how the kitchen works from this spot, and it is a well oiled machine. This place is very very busy. It's hard to get a table, but you can sit in the very nice bar next door and order your pizza from there. It is delivered to you. Hows that for service!? Theres also pizza desserts. mmmmmmmmm

We have found that Meine Leibe has always served up yummy gourmet pizzas. No hesitation in recommending this pizza place, it can be hard to find great pizza but we have never been disappointed at this restaurant. It is wise to book and we have also found that the wait can be lengthy.

I've eaten in many times and also picked up take-away many times. The quality is consistently excellent, the crusts are good (thin and crunchy) and the topping choice is more interesting than most places. The venue is small and noisy but has plenty of atmosphere. Service can be a bit mixed, possibly because it is often very busy. If you're planning to eat in it definitely pays to reserve a table, you may struggle otherwise. If you can't get a table, an option is to go to the bar next door (Joe's Shoe Store) which allows you to order from the Meine Leibe menu but eat them in Joe's.

Approximate cost: $15

Great pizza featuring creative and gourmet toppings. A busy little venue. Be sure to book as they have two dinner sittings which fill very quickly. If you miss out on a table, they do offer takeawy. Oh and they are BYO only, so don't forget to pack a bottle!

You need to get in early or book in order to get a table and sometimes the wait can be a bit long. They have many different pizza selections and also will sometimes make old favorites if you ask. The place can get quite loud when full which it is quite often!

The place is not super friendly, as they are so much in demand that they don't need to be. But the Pizzas are special. Pizza for Kate is my favourite.. mmm.. fresh tomato, bocconcini & prawns. Delicious.
