A cute little lolly shop situated in the new Marketplace shopping centre. The shop is small but jam packed with HUGE variety. Lollies and candies from all over the world. I went in there to buy something different for a present recently and came out with a couple of bars of chocolate that were decorated to look like American money. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and super friendly and has no problem with people browsing in the store for ages:) Having a Dutch background I was most happy to see that they also stocked a couple of varieties of Dutch licorice which I will be popping in for next I buy myself a treat. The prices are to be expected for such a specialty shop but worth it for being able to find something a little kooky.

Approximate cost: $10

Love this little lolly shop, especially for those lollies that you can't get anywhere else. The lady who serves you is always laughing and friendly and great with the kids as well. A tad on the pricey side but that comes with these kind of lolly shops.

Approximate cost: $7.00

If you are looking for something different for a gift, or just want a sweet treat for yourself that is not the usual run-of-the-mill items, then this sweet shop is worth a visit.
Situated in a smallish shop in the new Murray Bridge Marketplace Shopping Centre, the premises are very modern, fresh and clean, bright and well presented,
There is a large range of overseas chocolates, lollies and other sweet treats. There are the American Hershey bar range and syrups, Twinkies, original USA Pop-tarts; English sweets as well and other hard-to-find items like Birds Custard Powder. Also Aussie items, like Castlemaine Rock.
Also various other European brands, I saw Swiss lollies, Nerds and Pez.
One line that particularly caught my eye, but wasn't brave enough to try, was Tabasco-flavoured chocolate (chocolate infused with Tabasco spice). It was pricey, at about $9 for 50g, but, I'd imagine you wouldn't need a big piece of it. Maybe next time!?
