Rob is fantastic! WOW! I had never been in there before but needed a Statutory Declaration signed and was sent from the Post Office down to the Newsagent. I had my toddler in toe who was decidedly uninterested in my important business and was much happier running off to look at the toy display at the front of the store. (On a side note the toys on display were extremely well priced and of good quality.) Rob was great in distracting the little one with a lucky dip prize and at the same time witnessing and photocopying my paperwork! In about 5 minutes everything was all done and my little one was busy playing on the floor.
I was absolutely bowled over by the service, value and expediency as I left the shop pleasantly bewildered.

I recently purchased a voucher on another site and my husband and I used it for an overnight stay in Adelaide. We were not after any thing fancy, just a decent room at a decent price.
Our room was decorated really well, not your usual budget type lodgings with terrible floral patterns and mismatched items from an op shop. It was very tasteful and upmarket without going over the top. The location was excellent and we could stroll comfortably around Adelaide without our car or using transport. Onsite parking was provided and the late checkout was most appreciated. I found the service excellent and felt as though we were guests not just numbers with a key.
An easy and enjoyable stay and we will be returning again next time we are staying over night in Adelaide.

A cute little lolly shop situated in the new Marketplace shopping centre. The shop is small but jam packed with HUGE variety. Lollies and candies from all over the world. I went in there to buy something different for a present recently and came out with a couple of bars of chocolate that were decorated to look like American money. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and super friendly and has no problem with people browsing in the store for ages:) Having a Dutch background I was most happy to see that they also stocked a couple of varieties of Dutch licorice which I will be popping in for next I buy myself a treat. The prices are to be expected for such a specialty shop but worth it for being able to find something a little kooky.

This review is for Greenhills Adventure Park, Victor Harbor SA

There is not a lot of options in South Australia in regards to fun parks and amusement parks. Greenhills has managed to keep going while others such as Puzzle Park have long since closed their doors. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the place is looking a little run down, but it is still open. Children don't seem to mind much about the aesthetics of the park itself, just as long as the slides are working. The prices are reasonable and one can always pack lunch to save some money. It is a good, fun and healthy day out for everyone. Not too far from Adelaide and great to take the children to a place that is made for them(and us big kids).

This review is for The Cockle Train, Melrose Park SA

My boys loved this one. We chose to take the cockle train when staying over night in Victor Harbor for something different. My children 2 and 9 both got great enjoyment out of the ride for different reasons. Their was something the whole family enjoyed be it the train ride itself, the scenery or the little bit of adventure. An outing filled with history diligently preserved by the many volunteers that make it possible for us and many others to experience this kind of journey. It is not expensive and is excellent value for money and a great way to spend time together as a family. The service, of course, was superb.

This review is for Meningie Hotel, Meningie SA

I must say, despite the lack of refurbishment this old building has received(the drive thru bottle shop leaves a lot to desire), we had a very enjoyable experience here when we came for dinner. If you are looking for a proper old fashioned pub experience you too will enjoy stepping back in time a little at the Meningie Hotel. The staff, the meals, the atmosphere of a true pub. It may not be to everyone's tastes if you like something a little fancy or touristy, but if you want a relaxed, enjoyable and down to earth time with an occasional laugh, then I would recommend going here. I had a fantastically huge schnitzel with lashings of gravy and super crispy chips washed down a super cold beer. Just the way I like it.

This review is for Gemini Downs Coorong Holiday Centre, Salt Creek SA

We took the whole family here to stay and we were very impressed. It was a lot bigger than we imagined with self-contained three star holiday units, a two bedroom holiday home, self-contained three star cabins, a bunk house for groups, caravan park and camping facilities. We were staying in one of the holiday units but it appeared that there was accommodation types for all sorts of travelers. The children loved running around and were pretty much left free to roam. It is fantastic family accommodation and we ended up socialising with a wide variety of people. The unit was nothing fancy but suitable for our needs and clean with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we all had an excellent sleep!

WOW! This log cabin is hidden away in the trees next to Lake Albert. Absolutely gorgeous to wake up in. There is also access to your own golf course. We never left the property, although it was a short stay so I would suspect that travelers would want to explore the area more and this is a great place to do it from. The place is fully furnished with two rooms and plenty of space. We booked it for our anniversary just for some peace and quite and we had a wonderful time. Thank you to the wonderful people who run the cabin for all their personal touches.

This is a nice little place to stop in for a bite to eat if you are traveling through Meningie, or live locally and are popping in to do a bit of grocery shopping. It is a relaxed atmosphere despite the many customers I saw coming and going when my son and I stopped in recently. We wanted something a little more than just a pie and were extremely happy with the variety we could choose from. From looking at their opening times when we were in there, it appears they are open up until the evening, about 7pm I think. It is always good to know if I am going through that area at night that something is open that offers good food at a good price, with good service. The lady serving us was warm and inviting and made it a somewhat homely experience.

This review is for Jubilee Motor Inn, Mount Gambier SA

We took our dog with us on holiday to Mt. Gambier recently and chose this hotel out of the few accommodations that were pet friendly. They also offer a baby sitting service, although we did not opt for this(next time however...). The couple that run this motel are absolutely amazing and it allowed for us to have a stress free stay. The place was adequate for our needs with the rooms clean and our dog well looked after. Everything we wanted to see was relatively close and we all slept fine next to the high way. I just can't get past the amazing service for such a moderate motel. With out a doubt we will be back next year.
