A few weeks ago we had our house painted and I couldnt stand the smell so we took the caravan down to the caravan park. It was so nice being a visitor in our own town. It was so beautiful to stay so close to the river. They have a big pelican statue as you drive in. It was so nice watching all the birds and just a short walk to the river.

Had two nights here. Pleasant location near river. Amenities clean and well kept. However the keypad to amenities sometimes caused problems. Cabins and ensuite sites are also available as well as camp and power sites

What a lovely park to stay in. Right on the riverfront, which is perfect for a walk along the beautiful River Murray. Swimming right at your doorstep. If you enjoy skiing and have a speedboat , Its a beautiful part of the river to do so. The caravan Park has accomodation for all budgets, ranging from self contained cabins, powered van sites as well as powered and non powered tent sites.In the cabins all linen is supplied, but if towels are needed you only need to ask. the BBQ area is clean and very well looked after, and a great place to meet other campers. The park is very well equipt for kids, having a great playground just across from the park. Canoe hire, basketball and 9 hole golf all part of the service. The kiosk stocks most basic needs including ice and gas. No pets are allowed, so you have to leave your furry friend at home.Pricing varies from $25/night for unpowered, $30/night powered up to $100/night for the biggest cabin.This is based an two kids and two adults

park services are slow and not as good as other surrounding caravan parks,it is also not worth the money.the park is not very nice looking for a riverland park,but that's loxton for you,i didn't think the town of loxton is a very nice town and the found some of the locals,arrogant,wouldnt advise to skip loxton when visiting the riverland

Spent one night here and it was peaceful enough after everyone went to bed for the night. There is a basketball court on the caravan park grounds that is very popular with the local kids and it is lit up most of the night. Also right next to public access road to the river and local residence seem to be drawn to this area also, very noisy. The amenities are clean and it is a nice spot but could be a lot quieter. Also not good if you hate dogs barking all night. $28 unpowered site.

Such a lovely place to stay when travelling to the Riverland. The wildlife and scenery at this caravan park are amazing and you can enjoy the beautiful Murray River that is looking so much better these days. The staff are great and always remember us despite only staying a couple of times in the last few years. Clean and quite and spacious, everything I want from my accommodation. The prices are excellent and there are all types to suit any sized family. My boys always love it here and if they are lucky they get to see some of the wildlife. A place for a little bit of an adventure.

pleasant caravan park for the township of loxton,except the stay in berri was more enjoyable,the service of this park was very good,and the price could be better value for money but otherwise it was a peaceful stay

This is a beautiful, big park, on the banks of the River Murray, only a couple of kms. from the town centre. We had an ensuite site in the new section of the park. It was very neat and clean, and so peaceful! There are other sites among the gum trees down near the river, with kangaroos grazing on the lawns. The managers are very friendly and helpful. A top spot!
