Have only been to the Bistro a number of times, not the Carvery. The Bistro have daily specials which are very well priced. Every time I have been there I have always been more than happy with the food and service. I know that you can get a reduced "carvery meal" with the shop-a-dockets

Hubby was happy with his 'carvery' here on Saturday night, but my vegetarian curry was very average....quite disappointing. Busy bistro, but it would have been great to have had another vegie option to choose from. Expensive night out, considering the quality. Parking was fine, but overall a disappointing experience.

This hotel has a bistro area and a dining room and both serve quality food. The bistro is less formal and the dining room is formal with well trained staff. Tables are set with cloths and glassware etc. A buffett is available at certain times and a very nice menu is avaiable. Your choice of dining.

We took my in-laws out to dinner here recently and I am glad we had booked a table earlier as it was extremely busy. The location is gorgeous and it was a nice place to eat. The service was excellent, than goodness as my father-in-law is very picky about his table service! Despite it being so busy there was always someone there at our table when we needed them and the meals were brought out in excellent time. The menu has some high end dishes both in quality and price and there is wonderful local produce through out the whole selection. My meal was delicious and everyone else enjoyed their meal. I would prefer to go on a less busy night myself to be really able to relax and appreciate my food, but it was an wonderful, lively atmosphere for a good social night out.

This hotel is a reasonably modern hotel which has modern accomodation on the first floor. They offer travel auction holiday stays which are good value as there are meal deals included. Depending on which one you purchase there can be other options also offered around Victor. The buffet meal is great value and well done. Of course you can just make a booking direct with the hotel as well and have an enjoyable few days away.

We have eaten here a couple of times recently, and enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere of this pub. An old, ornate 2-storey pub, with modern refurbishments inside. A very pleasant dining area overlooking the park, palms and fairground in one direction, and the seafront over to Granite Island in another.
It can be very busy here, so expect a bit of a wait for a table and food to arrive. Even so, the wait is still within an acceptable time, we have found. Prices are as expected.
