The books that I ordered arrived in great condition. I can't find any other site or shop who are cheaper. Also got free delivery - even though they had to send out 2 different parcels as they had to order a book in for me. Great range of products. Will definitely use again!

3 strikes out of 3. First, I placed an order for a product that was supposedly in stock, but days after I ordered it, Fishpond told me that not only was it not in stock, it was discontinued. Then I placed another order that never arrived, and they made me wait over 3 weeks before they would investigate it, upon which they then informed that my order had gone missing, and that it would take 2 months to get the product back in stock. The product eventually arrived but the box was incredibly crumpled (due to the fact that the parcel had nothing inside it to protect the box and the parcel itself was just a thin piece of cardboard wrapped around the product), and the seal on the box to ensure it hadn't been opened was broken! I gave them one last chance by ordering a product that said it would ship within 24 hours, but then I was told the next day that it would take a week for it to ship and was given no explanation. I contacted Fishpond about this and then they told me they had to cancel the order because there was no more stock left! They clearly have no idea what's going on at this website.

Thus, the prices may be cheap sometimes, but they lie about stock status and delivery times and too many things seem to go wrong. Order at your own risk.

This is one of my favorite websites, they have a great range of books that you can't get anywhere else and offer free postage for orders over $50.00. I love their selling function too where you can sell your old books, it';s a great concept and I've sold quite a few things on there myself, well worth a look.

I love Fishpond! They source all manner of obscure books and CDs that I can find nowhere else...or, if I do find them, Fishpond nearly always undercut the exorbitant prices I see elsewhere. I've only ever had one problem - a skipping CD; when I emailed them about it, they sent me a replacement CD no questions asked. I did not have to return the faulty one. I've placed LOTS of orders with them and think they're all-around fantastic. (I've read other reviews citing slow postage, but I certainly haven't had this problem. It's always been perfectly fair postage time, in my experience. If an item's going to take some time to source, it says that in the listing. Sourcing-item time is not slow-postage time.)

I find this site great for finding any books or dvds. Items which take longer to source always turn up and I am always happy with the free postage for orders over $50. I have also sold a few of my old books through this site as this site also offers second hand books, and have found it very easy to sell. Excellent concept.

The best thing about Fishpond is that they price match Amazon. I bought a book for $130 from Fishpond where it was $60 cheaper on Amazon. They gave me a credit for the difference. Postage was very slow, but still faster than Amazon.

I love the bargains you can find on this site and the shipping costs are satisfactory however the postage time seemed to take forever. It was about 10 days late as to the date it was originally supposed to arrive

They offer a great selection of books and most of all its cheaper to buy uni textbook from here than on campus that's for sure!. Also the free shipping is a bonus.
But i have found i waited for one of my text books for almost 3 weeks? Even though it stated it was in stock.

Fishpond.com.au offers a great range of books, music and dvds with savings of RRP. Best thing is that once you spend over $50 they offer free shipping!!! An added benefit is being able to sell your own books, dvds etc to users of the site for a percentage of the sale price - much better than eBay as you are only charged once they sell! Love this site!!!!
