Brunette is a good place to get a coffee, Italian hot chocolate or cake. They have a nice range of cakes.

Brunetti is a must visit when you go to Melbourne, this place is awesome. I love going to Brunetti for strong coffee and my wife likes the Italian hot chocolate.

The new Brunetti's is amazing! the actual shop fittings are fantastic! They have a restaurant section at the back for pizza and pasta which is amazing. I find the staff to be very professional and pleasant to deal with. Such a huge range of desserts and a great gelati selection. Love coming here on a Saturday night for coffee and cake but can be hard to find a table as they are very busy. Best coffee and Italian hot chocolate in Melbourne!

I found the professional manner and appearance of the staff behind the counter very pleasing, though I thought service was somewhat slower than necessary at times. The luxurious surroundings and the seating arrangement were very relaxing. I thought the cake I ordered, a Rum Baba Crema, was very good value at $4.90 for such a premium quality both of the product itself and the tableware it was served on.

Brunetti's are the masters at Italian cakes in Melbourne. The new Lygon st store is bigger and better than before, with plenty of seating and a pizza section at the back. The staff are very quick at service so you're never waiting long for your meal.
My favourite thing for breakfast is the scrambled eggs with bacon-only my dad makes better! The best drink has to be the Italian hot chocolate with cream on top. If there is just one thing you are going to get-make it the hot chocolate! Yummy gelati, biscotti and bombolini make this an absolute place to go in Melbourne.

Well, the new Brunetti cafe around the corner from the old has retained its charm, but service seems to have declined.

The atmosphere has been retained. Still our favourite place. Will miss the old one though.

Approximate cost: $25

Took our mothers here for a Mothers Day treat and it was divine. Their little cakes are heavenly perfected works of art that are too adorable to eat. Cannoli was amazing, coffee isn't the best unfortunately so just come for the sweets!

great cakes and great new store. Coffee is ok but the cakes are divine. The store is large and extremely busy and cakes are great as always. Highly recommended and will be going back

Went to the new location on the weekend. It is always a great thing to do with interstate visitors. The new place is huge and the selection and variety of cakes is amazing. My favourite is the Canolli, but I don't think I have tasted a bad cake from here, you can't go wrong. Coffee is always spot on. The service is pretty standard, but when you consider how busy it is, you can understand why the staff just get on with it. Would highly recommend, good luck getting a table!
