I joined Snap Fitness at The Gap last week, after having gone to a Jetts Fitness at Milton for a while. Snap at The Gap only only up a few months back. It has a lot of equipment and I really enjoy working out there.

I really enjoyed having lunch here the other day with a friend. I tried the sweet corn risotto with prosciutto and it was amazing. I would definitely go back. However, beware that you can't make bookings. It's walk in.

I went to ARIA in Brisbane for dinner the other night and the food and service were amazing. The restaurant was packed out too and it was a Tuesday! Whilst it is on the pricier side of things, it is definitely worth going to for a special occasion.

I went to Il Centro for my birthday this year after hearing the service was good and the sandcrab lasagne, amazing. This was true on both accounts. I would definitely recommend going to Il Centro for a special occasion, you won't be disappointed!

I had dinner at the Beach House Bar & Grill the other night with a group of friends. I loved the fact that they had someone playing popular songs on the guitar in the background but it did make it noisy. The dinner was average but all in all a good place to hang out with friends.

A friend introduced me to Au Cirque recently and if I could have breakfast out everyday, I think I'd be eating it here. They also change their menu frequently, so you can try something new once in a while. I ordered avocado on pide bread with sea salt, tomato salsa and a side of Haloumi - it was amazing! I also tried my friend's french toast with a strawberry coulis - I couldn't fault that either. The service was friendly and efficient, the prices were good value - I would go back any day.

I recommended this place to a friend for her going away dinner a couple of weeks ago after we couldn't get into the restaurant we wanted and after reading a review here on WOMOW. The group of us had a great dinner and an entertaining experience with the belly dancer. Whilst it was a bit pricier than expected, the entertainment and great food made it worth it! I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.

I became a customer of Nova gardens the other day after reading the positive review here on WOMOW. I'd been thinking about visiting a local garden centre in my area for a while and was happy to find the reviewer mentioned it was family run and had great service. Both of these things were true when I visited it on the 5th February and bought an eggplant tree, two tomato trees, fertilizer coriander and a few pots (which were great value at 1/2 price). The owner was very pleasant and more than happy to help when I looked lost. I would definitely go back there again!

This is such a great bar to go to for a quiet drink with friends. It has a wide selection of good beers. If unsure of what to order, simply ask the barmen and he'll give you a recommendation.

Guzman Y Gomez is the latest restaurant that's opened at Fortitude Valley's Emporium and it is one fantastic place to go to get a good burrito. The food is delicious and can be eaten there or taken away. Prices are to be expected, as it is located in the Emporium.
