I've only had pizza from here. They seem to be twice the price of a La Porchetta pizza but definitely worth extra price. The last pizza I had was a Mexicana. The salami was great and the chili flavouring perfect. I was also very impressed by how fresh and perfectly cooked the vegetables were, and the staff behind the counter were very welcoming and pleasant.

The hairdresser seemed to be very skilled, and had very good technique despite cutting the hair extremely fast. The problem with my haircut was she didn't listen to what I asked in terms of length and style of cut, and cut my hair much shorter than I asked, even though I gave clear instructions. The price was very good at $15.

This is a very good place to visit for people who are on holiday in the area, both as a takeaway shop for fish and chips and hamburgers, and as a general store, but probably very inadequate as a store if you live locally. I enjoyed very much the battered fish and chips, though they were probably not the best I've had. The chips were upsized for $1 but proved to be too much food for two people. The products in the store were limited but included probably everything you would need from a general store if you are on holiday. The prices were not bad, such as $4 for a packet of Tim Tams, but there were cheaper items too such as baked beans for under $2. The fish and chips (upsized) plus two dim sims cost about $16.

This seemed like an authentic Singaporean restaurant. My experience was mixed. The seating was pleasant and spacious but I found the fluorescent lighting was overdone and overbearing. The Killiney Chicken Curry was tasty and colourful with three large pieces of roti, which were a bit average in quality, while the Vegetable Laksa was bland and was rather powdery and unpleasant in texture. The overall cost was good at $28.80 for two mains, entrée (2 soft boiled eggs), and 2 drinks (cham).

Open late every night to 9pm. It has a large variety of salads, which all still looked very fresh when I came in one night about 5.30pm. I ordered a large roast chicken, large chips and large coleslaw at the cost of about $20. I definitely liked the chicken better than Red Rooster's, and the chips were better than most places I've been to. They were perfectly crisp outside and fluffy inside.

This is a budget cafe and seems to be very popular. The curries and Thai soups are better than other dishes here. They have a lot of Chinese and Malaysian dishes which are not very authentic. On my last visit we ordered a vegetable green curry and Combination HorFun. Today the sauce for the Horfun was not stirred properly and was very slushy. The vegetables in the curry were pale and we were given red curry instead of the green that was ordered.

The place had a good vibe in terms of happy customers and friendly staff. The seating was very comfortable despite the restaurant being quite full. The waitresses were genuinely enthusiastic and happy to serve. We had Roti Canai - $5.50, 1/2 dozen Beef Satay and Roti Bom with ice cream - $9.00 each, two drinks - Teh Tarik and Cham - $4.00 each (total meal $31.50). The food and drinks were delicious but the serving size was not as good as expected, probably should have ordered one more dish.

I thought the food we had was of very good quality, and the serving size about average. The cost was $11.50 for two large pieces of non-battered fish with minimum chips and two soft drinks. The drinks were supposed to be frozen, but the machine was not working, and we had a limited choice of drink alternatives. The staff were a bit grumpy today but are usually okay.

Approximate cost: $11.50

My hairdresser, Therese, had very good hairdressing skills, and was very detailed in her work. I was very happy with how my hair was styled and cut, and she spent quite a lot of time putting the finishing touches on my hair. The owner Otis was also very friendly and seemed to treat me like a valued customer.

Very pleasant and inviting and distinctly designed interior. The seating is very spacious although the furniture looked a bit cheap. I thought the staff and service was very customer-focused and friendly.

Our meal consisted of a sandwich platter - equivalent to two sandwiches ($4.00), a curry pie ($5.00), two vanilla slices ($3.30 each), 450ml Diet Coke (3.30), Cappuccino ($4.10).

The sandwiches were very fresh and not too cold. The pie was succulent and like a traditional English curry pie. The vanilla slices had a very creamy and indulgent filling, and the pastry was crumbly enough not to squash the filling though it seemed to resemble more savoury crackers than pastry. I thought the coffee was too watery and not aromatic enough.
