Just like most bakeries, you can smell the cakes and bread before you enter the shop and that makes you very hungry. The pies and pasties are delicious. The cakes are excellent and very good value. The service was a bit slow but what the heck,it was lunchtime!
Basic accommodation, and bearing in mind ongoing improvements being made, the location is great and so peaceful.
Derek was a very bubbly and talkative host and was only too happy to help us in any way. The motel is just across the road from a small, but very interesting mangrove area with a small boardwalk leading to a bird hide at the end. A short walk leads you to the beach where you can look across the bay to the town and there are other walking trails nearby.A very nice quiet location and thank you to Derek for your help.
The Motel is just a few minutes walk from the Coomealla Club and Golf Club. Fantastic service as previous. We usually stay in the budget rooms but this time they put us in the recently renovated deluxe rooms. Much more space facing the main road with window and door to the area outside. Airconditioning was much appreciated with the hot weather. The pool was delightful. Nice area for BBQ and loads of parking. Will visit again!
Having been there before we expected and got the same service as previous. The meals are great and inexpensive. If you are there on certain nights, there are specials.Thank you to Robert for the fast service of drinks and thank you to the kitchen staff for meals delivered in quick time. If you want to hang around after to have a dabble at the pokies and a few drinks, it's only a few minutes walk to the Motel where we stayed.
The best place too visit on a very hot day in Mildura. Wish we had one here. There are so many different flavours to choose from it takes a hell of a long time to make up your mind! Top marks to Wayne.
Forget the kids. This is great for a lot of us oldies who like a bit of fun and games with science.
Although we didn't get there til late in the afternoon,we still had a great time playing around with the exhibits. Laser Harp, plasma globes, mini water spouts, hot air balloons, air cannons and all sorts of weird and wonderful experiments can keep one occupied for hours. I'm only kidding about the kids though. Take them and I'm sure they'll love it. Great value for money!
Despite the weather being wet and windy, the lunch cruise to Fremantle from Perth was very enjoyable. The commentary was great and the views along the Swan River are fantastic. To all the staff on board -Well Done! The lunch was wonderful and the cruise was good value. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Perth.
Thank you guys! Our first service was due and was carried out with first class attention.
The car is fantastic! A pleasure to drive. Very economical. Pleasure to do business with you.
:)) It was great to see that the i30 has the same safety rating as the Aust built Cruze.
Approximate cost: $245
Most of the other Zoos in Australia could take a leaf out of this book. It's the cheapest entry prices in the country! So why do the others struggle with overpriced entry fees? This zoo is so beautifully natural. Cages are non-existent except for the bird life(obviously) and it's such a relaxed environment. There are friendly volunteers to guide you around if you wish and there are lots of lawns and seats for resting. We spent the most of the day there and enjoyed it all. Food was a bit expensive as in all of these places and I recommend that anyone with children take a picnic lunch!
If you are in Perth for a visit, check out this little shop in Piccadilly Arcade. You might be lucky enough to see the candy maker at work. Oh boy! This is so amazing to watch. I knew it was tough going making rock candy but they have made it an Art form. You can even have your own name moulded into the candy. Brilliant! The candy is a bit on the expensive side but there is a lot of work going into it.
