Agree with another reviewer that their prescription service is quite slow (especially when one is in a hurry) but they are open to 9pm weekdays, 6pm weekends which is convenient as most other chemists are closed after 7pm. Their stock and prices on non-pharmacy products is excellent. They have a great range of beauty products, fragrances (which I think are on par with websites like strawberrynet.com for pricing), vitamins, over the counter medicines and a great baby product selection.

This is a very convenient chemist, given its location to my doctors and they are open an hour later than the medical practice meaning you should be able to get what you need once you have seen your doctor. Staff are very friendly, helpful and happily engage in conversation. There is a good selection of products available for all sorts of ailments and emergency purchases, including gifts.

Cheaper and much more convenient than going to the newsagent, magshop and a great site to subscribe to magazines and buy books. Prices appear to come down and they often have sales on their subscriptions. Not all magazines can be purchased through magshop (ie. Who Magazine) but there are other gossip magazines that spout the same drivel if you are into that sort of thing.

This place is a god-send especially when I don't feel like cooking. Its probably a misnomer but it feels a little more healthy than having other take-away chickens. We use the drive thru option and staff are always friendly, clear with their enunciation and service is fast. It seems to be a pretty busy place and I just hope the rumours I heard about RR soon going broke are untrue!

Approximate cost: $24 for a chicken, family chips, peas and gravy - I make a salad at home!

Most post offices you visit there is always a queue. This one was quiet for a week day and I had to do that horrible task of taking a passport photo! No smiles - just a terrible mug shot! Thankfully, with the invention of the digital camera and friendly and helpful staff, you have the ability to pick and choose the best of a bad bunch. Staff here were quite willing to take a few shots to get a good one. The price is what it is ($15.95) but I am not sure why (or what I am going to do with) the photos I don't need - you only need 2 for a passport. Will happily use their services again - have two kids to try and get not to smile for a photo!!

This review is for Oxford, Ultimo NSW

I am constantly amazed at the price of clothing - not how expensive things are, but the opposite. A good sale at Oxford used to be $79 business shirts. I walked in yesterday to purchase a pink shirt for my husband (having ruined one in the wash - which is another story!) Anyway, I picked up a good replacement to find it was only $49. There were others on sale for $32. The bonus was that the guy behind the counter was polite, friendly and helpful... Hazzaa!! Good prices and Good Customer Service does exist! I walked out of the store with 4 shirts. And now that I told my husband about the sale, we will no doubt go back to see if he sees anything he likes! This store only has mens wear but has a good range of shirts, suits and ties.

Each time I walk past this store I see cute little dresses, tops and bottoms. On this occasion I ventured in, and I was not disappointed. I admit that the Up to 60% off signage drew me in. The girls were friendly, chatty and very helpful. The prices were good - but they were on sale - I would probably not pay full price given the prices of the sale items. As for sizing, I noticed that the largest size for the tops and dresses tended was 12. I found a skirt in a 14... so if you tend to be an average sized woman then you might be hard pressed to fit their clothing.

This review is for Cow And Moon Gelato, Enmore NSW

I have had the gelato here and it is definitely one of Sydney's best. The coffee is also rather good and with the counter close to the street, I was able to just pop in and grab a takeaway without having to enter the cafe (always a bonus when one has a pram).

Approximate cost: $3.50 for a regular coffee

This review is for Muffin Break, Leichhardt NSW

This is a great place to have a break from shopping and sit and drink a coffee and enjoy a muffin. The staff are friendly and polite (even allowing takeaway orders to sit and enjoy a rest). The coffee is good and available in small, regular and large (and a decent large too!) And if you have their loyalty every 5th coffee is free. The muffins are tasty but I find them a little overpriced for the size. Definitely a sometimes treat!

Approximate cost: $4.70 for a large coffee

Great fruit and veggies with great prices. Service is always fast and friendly with extra cashiers often opening when the shop is busy. The fruit and veg is fresh and they also sell other condiments, including relishes, pastas, olives, pastes, milk and breads. Gives Coles a run for its fresh fruit and veg money since they are located right next door. Check out their prices before heading in to do your bigger grocery shop!!
