I ordered the squid today and the menu stated "6 pieces" but I only received 5. Another person on our table ordered the chicken caesar salad and he also commented that he only got 1 piece of chicken. Oh, and don't try to replace chips with mash. Apparently they don't have mash, even though the lamb shanks on the menu is served with mash.

Because I've been here several times, I know not to line up. The people behind the bar don't seem to care who got there first. The lady with short dark hair is rude and abrupt to female clientele but is always friendly to the males. A few of us went here for lunch last month, in 40 degree heat so decided to sit inside thinking it would be cooler. The air conditioning wasn't switched on and was driving customers out. We would have been happy to stay for another round of drinks had it not been for the stifling heat inside!

We only come here for drinks because 1. It's the only pub in the immediate area and 2. We get a 25% discount from Lifestyle. I don't usually buy food here because it's overpriced pub food that's not worth the money even with the 25% discount. $11.50 is not worth 5 measly pieces of squid + salad consisting of bits of dry lettuce, cabbage and capsicum.

I would recommend going for a drive to Paddy's Brewery in Flemington where you get larger portions for less money. They have a large outdoor section and the inside is air-conditioned!

Best Lebanese food I have ever had by far! 6 adults and 2 kids shared 3 mixed platters between us. Loved everything from the freshly cooked skewers, dips and tabouleh. Will def be a regular here.

Not too keen on the plate of pickled veg they give you to munch on while waiting for your order. Might be a good idea to serve some dips to go with the bread before the mains are served.

Food was mediocre and service was appalling. 3 wait staff walked past our group before one of them finally paid attention to us, and the place was pretty empty. The chicken skewers were ok but the chicken schnitzel looked like it had been re-cooked. For the price they charge, I wouldn't come back here again. There's plenty of other eateries in Sydney Olympic Park I'd rather spend my money on. I recommend the Japanese place on Dawn Fraser Ave next to the newsagency.

This review is for Pho No1, Burwood NSW

My partner and I always have dinner here when we're in Burwood. The pork chops and beef pho are always consistently good. The last few times though, they seemed to have employed younger wait staff who need to pay more attention when taking orders. However, the lady who always greets us and recognises us is as lovely and sweet as ever. I hope she's there everytime we come in to eat here.

Pho Pasteur has Vietnamese and Chinese food on their menu so I don't know how authentic their Vietnamese food is. I usually have the pork chops with tomato rice. Pork chops not as big as other Vietnamese restaurants I've gone to. Last time they also forgot to give us the soup that accompanies the meal. We had to ask for it.

For authentic Vietnamese cuisine, I would recommend Pho No 1 on Burwood Rd, Burwood. For the same price (or less) you get bigger servings and tastier Vietnamese food.

We dined here after reading all the glowing reviews but my partner and I left both disappointed. We were looking for an authentic Vietnamese experience and were surprised when the waiter did not even know what pho was when we asked for it, after noting it was not on the menu.

So we ordered the rice noodle soup (pho) and I tried the laksa. The pho was decent but the laksa was bland. The prices were reasonable though for dinner. If you want authentic Vietnamese food, I recommend Pho no1 in Burwood on Burwood rd.
