Had a fantastic experience recently at this little Taco Bill restaurant on Mahoneys Rd, Forest Hill. It is a themed Mexican restaurant, with great deals on particular nights, wonderful helpful staff and the food was close to perfect. There is a picture menu so that you can work out exactly what it is you are ordering, the bar is well stocked and overall we left extremely happy customers.

Often visit this littler bakery in Heathmont for their jam donuts. They are fresh, soft, and just delightful...for only $1.80 one of the best donuts going around. This bakery also has plenty of organic breads for those with different dietary requirements or tastebuds. Smiley service, and can also organise a special cake for someone.

Used Jetstar on a flight from Cairns to Melbourne, I felt that the hosties were not very helpful or personable, therefore the service was lacking. Another drawback was that the pantry had not been re-stocked, and no food was supplied through out the trip and drinks were limited. But, for the price of the ticket, you get a comfortable seat, free music and a safe flight to your destination.

Virgin Blue, a cheap way to travel, but that doesn't mean you get no service! Recently flew Melbourne to Cairns, the hosties were full of fun (even at 11.30pm!), the Captain kept regular updates, food was good value and foxtel free to air on the TV (Not sure if this occurs on all flights...as it was a malfunction!). Travel times were on-time and no delays. No need to pay exoberant amounts to fly, when you get a comfortable trip with Virgin Blue.

Great local mechanic, always helpful, will try and fit you in if your car is broken down, same day service. Average prices for labour and parts, but its the explanations and friendly service with mechanics that are trustworthy and helpful which is the best part!

Visited Palace Camberwell on a Thursday night for karaoke Thursday's!! Well organised karaoke competition, where each singer game enough to get up and belt out a tune receives a tequila shot, and if you are that good, and you win, its a $50 cash prize. The DJ is very amusing, bright shirt and encouraging, the patrons are also good natured, a very fun night.
If you get there before 9pm, you can also buy a chicken parma (decent sized), with a schooner for only $12, great value to kick of an entertaining night.

CQ - a massive nightclub on Queen St Melbourne, where the queue to get in is usually 30m down the road...even at 3am! The door staff leave a lot to be desired, it is quite embarrassing lining up, whilst others who walk past are allowed straight in. The bouncers are extremely selective, so if you play a professional sport or your dress is extremely short, you should be fine to get in.
Once you are in, it is a great place, where everyone is ready to party, huge dancefloor, average priced drinks and the music is wideranging. Fantastic outdoor area for smokers. A lot of good fun...if you are willing to sacrifice the humiliation of getting into the place!!

Have visited Andre at Ringwood Tattooist many times. The first thing you notice about this studio is its cleanliness, the floors, benches and equipment (always covered with new plastic) are completely santitized and clean. It is extremely professional, with the needle being opened in front of you.
As for the tattoo's there are millions of designs to choose from, or you can go for something original. Andre is extremely helpful and offers sound advice, ensuring that you never walk out disapointed. Prices for small tattoos range from $50 and go upwards as they get my intricate and bigger. If you are after a tattoo, this is the place to head to

Situated on the water at the Docklands, this steak house offers both steak and a range of seafood. The atmosphere is fine dining, with well laid out tables, and a romantic venue, with exceptional staff. However, the steaks are above average price, yet the final product probably justifies the price. Am willing to spend extra for better quality steak. Large portions also. Very enjoyable night at this restaurant, great place for those special occasions.

Designer clothes for a fraction of the price! Diesel, Mavi, Calvin Klein and others, all at reduced prices. A variety of clothes, speciality in jeans though, and a massive range of t-shirts. Plenty of sizes to cater for everyone. A great place to shop, from casual to evening wear, can find just about anything at Global Rags. Helpful staff who aid in finding correct sizes.
