This place has been at Glenelg for ages and has recently had a facelift. I think it may be in the hands of new owners - I'm not sure about this. In any case, we've been going here for years but have noticed that things have started to slide of late.

Don't get me wrong, the food is still pretty tasty, it's just that it used to be better. And the service seems to have dropped lately. We were ignored for much of our dinner which can be difficult and cause some problems.

Good thing to see that they now take bookings for less than 4 people now - they never used to before.

Overall good. I'll probably go again because I'm nearby but it's on par with many other mexican restaurants.

This is a great little place - blink and you'll miss it! It's a pretty small establishment inside - they really make the most of it by fitting everyone in but this adds to the atmosphere - cosy and intimate.

Staff are really friendly and very accommodating. Very happy to help with food choices if you're not very experienced with Korean food.

The food was delicious! We got a few things to share and had more than enough to eat. There were only two of us so we just got a few sides but it was plenty.

Good atmosphere for families or trendy young-uns :-)

I went for dinner here with two of my friends. The menu is designed for sharing so we picked a few items from the menu to share - the waitress was very good at suggesting the quantities that we would need... unfortunately this was pretty much all she was good at.

Whilst quite pleasant the staff seem to be quite hopeless. My two friends got their drinks and I expected to get mine shortly after (I had ordered a pineapple juice so it's not like it was difficult). After waiting 10 minutes, I asked about my drink and was told that she had forgot and would get it to me asap. 15 minutes later, I finally got my drink (after about half an hour from the time I ordered it). I asked for water for the table at the very beginning - this didn't arrive until I asked for it another five times and took about an hour to finally arrive.

The food was fine. It wasn't anything to rave about however it wasn't bad either. It was just okay.

We asked for the bill... and then had to wait at least 20 minutes before we recieved it. I was close to just walking away without paying as it seemed that they weren't interested in getting our money!

I've spoken to others who have been who have made the same comments about the slow service.

To be honest, the food wasn't good enough for me to forget about the bad service and I will not be going back anytime soon.

I've been here a couple of times. It's a good place to go for drinks to catch up with friends (or even a first date!). The atmosphere is relaxed and there's lot to look at so plenty to keep conversation going.

BUT if you want to talk, you might want to check if they have live entertainment there. We went one night when they had drummers. TWO sets of drummers. They were very good... but they were also VERY LOUD! Impossible to talk but it was only for about half an hour so we could talk after that.

The food was nice though the portions were quite small. Tapas is small portions to be shared however with some, there simply wasn't enough to share. And the prices didn't seem to reflect the portions size either. Consequently you have to order a lot to make sure you have enough to eat.

THey have special pizza and paella nights - I haven't been yet but I'd be keen to check them out!

I went to this place to try it because they were participating in the "split the menu" offer (half price meals). Was disappointed that they wouldn't accept the voucher because we hadn't ordered a main meal (we ordered a tasting platter which was listed under the main meal). Given we had to say we had the voucher when we made the booking, I would have thought they would have said something when we ordered... but nevermind.

Food was good. Very much like indian food with the exception of some banana fritter/donut type things they had. They were interesting though very oily.

I went with just one friend - we both enjoyed it but wouldn't be in a hurry to go back. It's a good place to try something different though.

THIS. PLACE. IS. HILARIOUS!

I've been a vegetarian for about 15 years now and it's a great novelty to try new foods. I love food but the choices you have with many cuisines is quite limited so I jumped at the chance to go somewhere that I could chose ANYTHING off the menu.

The decor is quite dated but the people are lovely. The food is quite tasty (even though it was a little strange to eat "meat"). It was so much fun to try new things though! I'll def go back with some other vego friends and try some more menu items!

Great little comedy club. Went to open mike night on Monday night which only cost $10 to get in. Was great to experience some new comics even though some were a little cringe-worthy.

they have a little bar there where you can buy drinks. I didn't see any food (other than packets of chips) but noticed some people had brought in their coffee (and I think one guy had brought in a kebab) so you might be able to bring your own food in. I'm not 100% sure on this though - they could have just been regulars that were very familiar with the place.

A good experience all round - well worth $10!

great little dessert bar!
We tried the tasting plate which ws great value - $20 for smaller servings of three of the desserts they have on their menu. All three were very tasty and they weren't tiny either like some other tasting plates from other dessert bars.
Beware though that you'll be sick from sugar after dessert and a hot chocolate!

good place for dessert though a little over-priced.
The vibe of the place is a little sterile - not that conducive to a relaxing coffee.
Desserts look delicious and they are very tasty... but $10 for a little piece cake seems a bit much when you can get a bigger (and probably just as good) piece of cake for just as much.

This review is for La Tombola Italian Restaurant, Parkside SA

Great italian restaurant that seems to have been there forever. The staff were excellent - some of the best I've come across! Very accommodating and attentive without hovering and making you feel intimidated. The place was very busy which was good considering it was a weeknight.
Food was good however a little overpriced for what it was. I'm sure you can get italian that is just as good for 2/3 of the price.
Decor is a little dated but I think that's part of the charm.
