My favourite pizza place in Northcote. Always quick. The guys are always friendly behind the counter, even though they're busy. I recommend the Potato Rosemary Pizza. Always delicious.

Cosy and comfy. Perfect for a drink after work. Nice to see that it's been getting busier over the past few years. The good service and atmosphere are really telling of what this great place has to offer.

Lovely range of organic foods, however if you got when there's more than 6 people in one of the stores it can be very, very difficult to move. Still, lots of fresh food and a nice atmosphere.

I've been going here for years. Lovely, friendly staff and now that they've moved you can always find a place to sit. Hidden away, up a windy stair case. If you're looking for something a bit different, it's kitsch, kitsch and more kitsch!

One of my favourite places for a drink. I've taken many friends here. Plenty of room, across from the cinemas and restaurants. Also close to Westgarth station and the 86 tram pulls up outside (so never an excuse for anyone not to be there). Try the Amaretto Sour or their Pina Colada.

I've been at Bottom's Up doing Pole classes for over a year now. Wonderful teachers who are very understanding (I came from a no dance background), great tips for building up strength and positive attitudes all round. I always feel welcome and can always ask for tips.
Classes don't build up to a routine at the end like Pole Princess, but you will do choreography in the last class of each term which is good fun.
