If you crave an authentic Italian pizza look no further, they are thin, crispy with moderate toppings that taste fantastic. I had a large gourmet pizza last night called " Big Tony " The flavour was simply amazing!. Also free delivery over a wide area makes this place top of the list for me.

What a place, 9.30 am in the morning I asked if I could get a hamburger with the lot & to my surprise a very happy lady said no problem we can do that for you. WOW! & let me tell you it was a monster burger to boot. Great food great service & very very nice people. Why can't all shops be like this.
Highly recommended to anyone passing thru here.

Had a counter lunch here last weekend with a group of people & everyone ordered a different dish, wow !, the food came out on massive plates with the food about twice the amount of almost all the other pubs I have been to. Everyone in our group commented on how good the food was. A massive feed of top quality food + a beer or soft drink for $ 12.00. Amazing value & all I can say is you absolutely have to go there, also the service was fantastic & most friendly.

On the 6th sep/13 myself & a workmate brought flake, dim sims, scollops & calamari rings from this shop. The calamari is a frozen manufactured meat NOT a real piece of calamari. We ate the food which was really below par and both of us were very very sick later that day. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS SHOP. There is another chip shop further down on the same side of the road & while we did not unfortunately try this shop I would recommend to do so.

Had a parma here on wed, 11/9/13 in the tab section for lunch. The service was friendly and fast with the meal arriving in about 8 mins on a nice hot plate with chips & salad. The taste was very nice, very fresh salad & nicely cooked chips. The only critic I can say is it was, compared to most pub parma's a little bit on the small size but saying that it was a very very nice meal.
Well done keys pub, if it was a bit bigger I would have given it a 10 out of 10.

I have been getting pizzas here for quite a while & most of the time the food was fantastic, however they used to be open 7 days a week until recently when the owner had decided to close on Monday's ( understandably ) but since then he has also decided to train new people to make pizza's. Unfortunately the quality has been sliding downward ever since like a Indonesian mudslide with the new pizza makers not having any clue whatsoever as to what a great pizza entails. I hope that with time the owner realizes what as happened & fixes the problem as it would be a great shame to see one of the very few good shops in that area disappear.

Dropped in here on Thursday 22/8/13 around 2.15pm expecting to be too late for a counter meal & was pleasantly surprised. Had a spicy parma & chips ( just $12 ). jalapeno peppers, chilli & capsicum. it was very good. They have a parmarama Thursdays there so plenty to choose from. Also Chelsea & south eastern suburbs TAKE NOTE !. the pubs over here have counter meals up to 3 pm weekdays, no 1920's attitude to service in this suburb. Well done Laurel hotel.

A while ago I ordered a greek souvlaki & as I watched in horror they spooned out marinated meat from a bucket onto the hotplate, mmm I thought not a good start. When I got to my car I decided to taste it before I drove off, then I found out what it was marinated in. SOY SAUCE !. I went back & asked for my money back to which the owner replied " well that's the way all souvlaki's are made. It took me over 8 mins to get a refund & only after I asked the other customers if they have ever brought a soy sauce greek souvlaki & no one said yes.Food shops in the Chelsea area really need to step up to the plate & serve customers with good food as I have found this to be a growing problem in that area.

The owner has a very narrow minded business concept. You cannot order a home delivery using a credit card over the phone. If you do order a home delivery as I wanted to ( I live less than a klm from them ) the order was a medium 1/2 & 1/2 normally $13.00
pickup, they wanted $7 to deliver so beware of the extorsion.

Pizzas are good there but even when you order a p/up they will tell you 20 mins, you can then find yourself sitting there another 15 mins or more as they do not follow the order sequence & will do phone orders that were ordered well after you placed your order.
