A while ago I ordered a greek souvlaki & as I watched in horror they spooned out marinated meat from a bucket onto the hotplate, mmm I thought not a good start. When I got to my car I decided to taste it before I drove off, then I found out what it was marinated in. SOY SAUCE !. I went back & asked for my money back to which the owner replied " well that's the way all souvlaki's are made. It took me over 8 mins to get a refund & only after I asked the other customers if they have ever brought a soy sauce greek souvlaki & no one said yes.Food shops in the Chelsea area really need to step up to the plate & serve customers with good food as I have found this to be a growing problem in that area.
This place is what you would expect from any local fish and chip joint. It was very clean, and the people were friendly. The food was good and salty, just the way I like it. The packs are quite cheap at $7.50 for small chips, flake, potato cake and fried dim sim.
Approximate cost: $7.50
Overall, we got fish and chips but weren't quite as happy with the quality or the service. We tried calling beforehand, but no one answered so we had to go there and wait. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about.
