This review is for Lennox House Occasional Care, Newtown NSW

Lennox House is a centre that caters for children birth - 5 years old. Programs include Occassional Care, Baby Gym, Playgroup, and Music. A truly excellent service, operating 5 days a week (except on school holidays). The centre offers a stimulating learning and play environment for children, with dedicated staff. My children both use the service and look forward to going every time. I have never heard or seen of a service like this before. It's outstanding, a must for kids to attend on a rainy day, and highly recommended.

This is a lovely, cosy cafe with plenty of seating indoors, and some outdoors. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is safe and comfy. Wonderful decor. I had a platter, which I found to be good, though a little costly.

A professional service at a very affordable price. I did a lot of comparative checks on plumbers in the Inner West, and this was one of the cheapest. Very friendly service, family operated I believe. I had a leaking tap replaced and the job was done very quickly, with no fuss. Highly recommended.

A very professional medical centre with many doctors to choose from. Dr Sonya Blainey is a wonderful doctor, I was very happy with her services. The times I've been here, the wait was not too long. Easily accessible by transport (bus) or if you are coming by car, park for free for 3 hours in the shopping centre carpark. The great thing is that you can do your shopping at the same time.

This review is for Marrickville Family Medical Practice, Marrickville NSW

I found this to be a good medical centre, offering a high quality service, with a clean interior (unlike some of the other medical centres in Marrickville). Dr. Robert S. is a great doctor, and there is a special nurse who takes care of the immunisations. I found him to be a wonderful, very professional man - my 4 year old didn't even cry when he has his needles done!

This is a good centre with caring, dedicated doctors. Dr. Sara is certainly a character to remember. I found Dr. S.Lee to be wonderful with little kids- after my son had his needles, she blew bubbles which cheered him up very well. The centre has been in operation for quite a while. I would definately recommend it. The only downside is the sometimes lengthy waiting times, even if you book in for an appointment, but this is probably the case with all other medical practices (though I think this area could be improved a bit)

This review is for Earlwood Preschool, Earlwood NSW

verified email - 25 Jul 2010

Earlwood preschool is a wonderful place with caring teachers and a spacious outdoor area, including a little garden. This is really great for the kids to have a run around in and explore- I have seen so many childcare centres with overly small outdoor play areas. The great thing is that it is officially a preschool, but CCB is available as extended hours are also offered, so it is also a daycare centre. The Centre caters for 2-5 year olds and its conveniently located near a bus stop.

Approximate cost: $60 a day

This review is for The Cupcake Factory, Earlwood NSW

verified email - 25 Jul 2010

The Cupcake factory in Earlwood is a lovely little shop, offering high quality delicious cupcakes. Don't be put off by the beautifully decorated shopfront, the cupcakes here are very affordable, starting from $1.00 each (mini cupcakes), and $3.00 (for normal sized classic cupcakes). I had the choc drizzle and polka dot, both very delicious and decadent. Definately worth a try if you have a sweet tooth, if not, perhaps they are a little sweet. But I would definately recommend this shop for someone looking for something a little different than your ordinary cake. Great service too!

This review is for Victoria Park Swimming Pool, Camperdown NSW

This is a great swimming pool. Has recently been upgraded, great facilities, clean and a modern look. There is a lovely little pool for babies (shaded) with fountain, and a 50 metre lap pool which is very deep at the deep end. Lovely cafe and a great, clean pool close to Sydney uni
