I have been a member of the Priceline Sisterclub since it began and have had a few problems with the card along the way, missing out on valuable points towards discount vouchers. However, last week when I made a purchase and did not have my card with me, they were happy for me to come back with the card and receipt and help me add the points to my balance. In this current economic climate where every cent counts, it is nice to find a business who are willing to go that extra step to ensure their customers get the most value they can. That's what keeps us coming back.

Went to see '2 Guns' at the Events Toombul Cinema the other night. I usually go during the week and use my discounted vouchers as the normal price is too high. On this afternoon I presented my voucher but the young usher told me to keep the voucher because the movie I wanted to see was actually on special and cheaper and I should save my ticket for another time. This has not happened at any other cinemas, and I go weekly, it was a nice surprise to have this usher be so thoughtful as to save me money and encourage me to come again. They have also recently started allocating seating (something that a lot of cinemas are doing but which I find quite frustrating as I have particular areas I like to sit in), but he told me that even though the ticket has printed out a seat for me, there were only about 20 people in there so I could still find a seat I would be comfortable in. This caring person was a great example of what friendly and helpful customer service is all about. So glad that Events Toombul is back again.

Always a great spot for afternoon tea but the service could ne a bit more attentive especially when there are only a few customers. Staff should be trained and familiar with all products on the menu. I ordered my favourite mexican hot chocolate but the waiter did not know what it was and if it had coffee in or could be added. As much as i love my coffees and chocolates the prices are a little steep but that wont keep me away. Chocolate pizzas are the best treat on the menu.

Thankyou to the lovely usher who was so helpful to my elderly and slightly physically challenged friend by carrying his drink and popcorn to the theatre until he was comfortably seated. It is this little bit extra customer service that is much appreciated and will keep me returning to the theatre even though it is a bit of a distance to travel.

Had forgotten how busy this plates gets on a Sunday but still managed to have a good feed and love the tall beers which saved continuous trips to the bar. Perhaps the size of the meals could be a little bit smaller and the price lowered accordingly, but the live jazz band on a relaxing afternoon sure made up for it.

This place has been around for as long as I have been frequenting Ascot and continues to offer up a good selection of light meals. There was something to please everyone in our group. I especially enjoyed my bruschetta and salad and just wish I'd had the room for one of the delicious cakes.

Celebrated a mates birthday here and had a great evening. Lovely wine by the glass, small cheese breads so you dont fill up, then a never ending supply of meat on the skewer, chicken, beef, pork belly, lamb, chorizo, and topped off with cooked pineapple. Noone goes home hungry.

Very happy to recommend these friendly gentlemen who are hardworking and willing to help anyone. I blew a tyre on some broken roadway at the train station and needed to get a replacement as my spare cannot stay on forever. I rang and they immediately knew what I needed, checked to make sure they had one in stock, gave me a discounted price and then offered to try and repair the original tyre first to save me some dollars. They were busy when I dropped in but were happy to put the new one aside and have it ready to go when I returned the next day. After so many years of being treated poorly and being ripped off by mechanics and car salesman and the like, these two men were clearly honest and decent and more than happy to help a stranded female. Being on a major roadway, why not drop in and pop into get a candy fix next door while you wait.

Friendly waitress, happy to bring us extra plates so that we could share the chicken and pork meals that came complete with rice and miso. A little overpriced but still a great feed.

Love it, love it, love it. I've found one of my favourite spots for a light lunch in Hamilton. Highly recommend the fish tacos and the taco salad with pulled pork. Filling and delicious and great value. Saving room to try the ribs with chipotle sauce next time and what a perfect way to finish a meal with some chocolate nachos. You can always make room for a few churros at the end.
