I love the 1950's vibe of this place. When I am stressed out, I just forget the worries and listen to music from a duke box. It's cute and unpretentious place.

I ordered a hamburger combination which includes the burger, fries and drink. The burger size is small; but, the 2 inch filling is rather big. This was impressive. The fries are long, thick and may need more salt or seasoning. Then I had the hot fudge chocolate sundae. My partner had a chilli dog combination and a hot fudge sundae. The bill totaled $55.00.

In sum, I was full with this meal. The quality of food is good. These chips are crispy, not too oily and of a good size. The food was tasty. The hot fudge sundae was delicious. It had three scoops of vanilla ice cream, nuts, a glace cherry, cream with a umbrella as garnish which is a real treat. The thick shakes are good here as well.

Yet, the seats were a little low, but comfortable. You may have trouble trying to get out of the booth. Staff were friendly, effective and efficient. Staff danced which was fun, and part of the nice experience.

I enjoyed this place, and will go back again. This place offered good value for money, great food quality and was relaxing. I think place is a true gem. I will be back again.

My partner and I was very hungry and dropped in for a bite to eat. I ordered a egg, bacon, onion, tomato muffin and coffee. My partner had scrambled eggs and toast and coffee. Firstly, my muffin cost $10 and I had about three bites it was much smaller than a Mac's fillet of fish muffin. I had never see a baby-sized muffin in my life. I was still hungry, and I had a small cup of coffee. My partner's meal was so tiny! He was also hungry. His meal had some scrambled eggs on one small piece of toast. The total meat came to $32.00.

This place does not offer value for money, perhaps there is new management. I mentioned to the lady that I was still hungry and the servings were too small. She ignored my feedback, smiled and stated have a nice day.

While, the positives are: nice chairs, space between seatings, quick, nice vibe and efficient service, it matters little if it is not value for money. Yes, it is a nice place, but there are better places to explore and doubt I will come back. It was disappointing.

Previously as a hair model and additionally I have been to many different hairdressers for the past 20 years. I even experienced going to the hairdressers to the stars in Melbourne and Sydney. This is when I recognised an exceptional haircutter very quickly on in Melbourne. Should you need a funky or classic hairstyle, I only recommend Gary. My friend has the most amazing layered haircut for very long hair and asked her where she got it cut, amazingly it was from Garry.

Firstly, he gave the best layered bob, which made me look like a supermodel. That was about five year's ago. After my studies, I needed a total hair makeover. He will ask you what you want then offer you some excellent hair recommendations.

My objective: I wanted for my hair looked amazing considering I am on the rather large size, I was really conscious of a great haircut to detract from my weight gain. Additionally, I would be going to a few interviews in elite companies within the end of the week.

From a wash, blowdry and the perfect hair cut arrived within 55 mins resulting with a really great modern style.

My requirements are: I am a low maintenance person. Firstly, I do not like too much product due to naturally oilly hair, the cut should provide a flattering look around the face, with minimal maintenance.

So with a wash, cut, morrocian oil treatment and blowwave and hairspray powder was fantastic. The amount came to $90 for the visit which I considered to be reasonable. One drawback was the cost of hair products, they were steep. Yet, Garry is quite busy, I always had to book about a week in advance. The salon has very friendly staff, who offer you some beverages and magazines quickly, with no fuss. Garry, does not let you stay waiting long, because you are in the basin within minutes.

Salon Environment: The salon is a nice sized one, with only five comfortable chairs and easy assess to the wash basins. There is a comfortable sitting area for clients. The water temperature was perfect without even being asked. My hair was washed and then I was seated down when Garry then preceded with the consultation with his english humour. He was totally focussed on the cut. Naturally I have very long hair with little body, it was just dead straight and very oily. However, the state of my hair was it was in a pony tail, my hair was very mattered, curly and rather sweaty as I walk a lot. After the wash, Gary, cut my hair to shoulder length, I did not want a layered short fringe, because it took me ages to grow my hair to one length. Additionally, I had some some old red foils in my hair. Interestingly, he cut my hair emphaising two of the colours in a really subtle way which made use of my foils appear more fresh.

The final result was amazing in an interestingly way. Before, I came to the salon, I did some research on some the most up-to-date cuts, I choose two pictures. I did not show Gary my pictures of favourite cuts. But when I went home, one of the cuts was identical to the picture I had choosen without Gary seeing it. The hair style was a soft long layers around my face which looked a like volumious bob to my shoulder, then thinned out layers went past my shoulders. I can use putty or hairstyle if I want a different type of style.

The results were: more healthier hair, easier maintenance, slick and as a creative this cut gave me options to either leave and dry or blow dry into a volume look which is glamourous. The versatility of the cut is where Garry's genuis lies, he can visionise the perfect hair cut which frames the face nicely, and the precise cut is sharp. I could even have a messy style with my hair which would look good. The texture of my hair is fine but there is heaps of it. Gary's good at recreating a wonderfuland refreshing look. I look wonderful, more youthful, relevant, stylish with a funky edge and have received more confidence in just this one visit. The extra benefit is that my hair cut is one that can grow out and still look great. Therefore you do not need to go to the hairdresser every month. Seeing Gary is a treat, but he is someone to go to if you want the latest current and incredible haircut.

I am a very fussy client, and do not like being ripped off for substandard cuts that are not of benefit for the long term. Gary is one of the best hairdressers I have found in Melbourne and I know that everytime I have gone to him, I am constantly surprised at his haircutting masterpieces.
