We have a small business and needed some repairs done. Through WOMO, I contacted Hire-a-hubby. The local franchisee contacted me after the Easter break, and organised a meeting on site to go through the scope of works. He advised me he would get a quote to me in the immediate future. It is now 9 weeks later, and I have never heard back from him. Another tradesman did the job 3 weeks ago. It took 2 days.

I have a business in Mont Albert and regular use WOMO as a source for goods and services. I needed a handy man to do 1-2 days work on the premises and contacted Hire-a-hubby, whom I had used a few years ago.

I contacted them just before Easter and advised I would be back at work soon after the Easter break. I arrived back earlier than planned and re-rang the given 1800 number.

The local franchisee rang and turned up 2 days later to give a quote. So far, so good!! We discussed the scope of works.

That was the last I heard from him.

Another man, through a friend, has since done the work for me. I have still not heard from Hire-a-hubby one month later

When away from Melbourne, we always leave our 4yo choccy labradour with All Breeds. For $35 a day, she gets well exercised, fed twice a day and given proper rest and recovery periods. She loves interacting with the pack!!

Go to the local pub for great views over Bancroft Bay. The food, however, is very average. A pity given the possibilities. And the wine range on offer is below par, given some rather good local wineries. Prefer to go to 2 excellent local restaurants and go to the Metung Hotel if nothing else is available

A small family run restaurant producing fresh food frequently sourced from local ingredients. The food is well priced, as is the wine list which includes a number of very good local vinos. Most popular with the locals who certainly know value!

A previous Age One Hat winner, a meal at The Metung Galley is always a pleasant experience. Professionally operated by the O'Briens, they have established a thriving business over a number of years. A good range of local wines adds a lovely dimension to well presented food

Expensive meat but the best in Melbourne!! This butchery has a thriving business, which reflects the quality. An excellent variety of produce, supplemented by an extensive smallgoods range. Well worth the visit

Great flavours, very reasonably priced and BYO only but large liquor store 10 metres away!
Generally service is fast and efficient
I held my Christmas work function here in December 2011, and they did an excellent job. My staff thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
