We rented a car from this company as it was cheaper and we also got a car seat, sat nav and a stroller thrown in at no extra cost (other companies were charging up to $15 per day for each item!). I was a bit hesitant going with a smaller company without the reputation but there was no need to worry. Also get unlimited kilometres and a much smaller excess for a slightly bit more money.
They do not have an outlet at the airport, however, they met us at the arrivals gate and carried our luggage to the car in the car port – even though our plane was almost an hour late! On returning the car, we again met them in the car park at an arranged time.
Car was older, 2006 model, however it was very clean and comfortable. I would use this company again.

We booked a small cabin as there was only myself, my husband and 3 year old daughter - we did not know that the smaller the cabin, the poorer the quality. They have star ratings but they do not advertise this on their website. Cabin was however clean on arrival.
Park overall is ok, pools are nice - sunlounges can't really be comfortably sat upon), mini golf (which you have to pay for) is overdue for an upgrade, bouncing pillow was great. Facilities such as camp kitchen and toilets were always clean.
Bistro is what you would expect for "family" dining, could be nicer food available for adults. Service was very good, friendly and helpful.
There is a kids corner which would be good but we could not use as our daughter was too young - to be expected but not noted on website.
Location of park is not really good, far from beach and accessible broad water. Definitely need a car if staying here.
Staff (aside from the bistro) were generally non existent or unfriendly (reception).

I do not think we would stay here again 1)due to distance from beach, 2) we stayed in 4 a star 2 bedroom self contained apartment in Southport for a fraction more and 3) unfriendliness of staff outside of bistro.
It would be a great spot for a couple of families with older children, in large (better quality) cabins who were not interested in the beach.

We stayed ehre for 6 nights in September in a 2 room, self contained apartment. It was very spacious, comfortable, extremely clean and modern.
The staff were all very friendly and tried to assist, especially the housekeeping staff.
The facilitites are lacking in that there is only a pool available. Surrouds - it is right near the broadwater and the kids playgrounds, walking track and very close to a shopping centre. Would definately stay here again.

Good value for what it is.

We had a large group booking of 23 on a Friday night for dinner. Food was beautiful, fresh, yum AND it all came out within moments of one another even though such a large group.
Service was also very good and they tried hard to accomodate my 3 year old daughter.

We had a lovely dinner here. Good, honest pub meals. The food was fresh and my husband enjoyed his steak - which is no small feat! They were very friendly and helpful with our young daughter. Very very good value childrens meals.

Four of us attended for dinner on a Monday night. We all had hot mains and were generally unimpressed. Mine lacked flavour and was quite bland. Service was very average and rude.

We were a little disappointed in our food after having heard all the wow reviews about this place. I had a chicken burger which had ok flavour but the chicken was very dry due to being quite thin and deep fried I think. My husband had the lounge special which he also said was just ok. Fries were nice, thick chips only just ok.

Not sure if we approached this with an unfair expectation due to reviews but given the price we certainly would expect better.

This is a fresh seafood shop that does take away fish and chips as well so expectations were higher than usual. The grilled flake was nice but the fried flake was dominated by the batter falvour, not all that nice. Chips were average. Given the prices I would have expected better. Might go back as it is close to home but won't be rushing back.

Our daughter moved to this swim school. They are fantastic. Great, caring teachers. Great program and incentive to move up and getting certificates. Our daughter has excelled since being here and loves her lessons.

The facilitites are a little tired but this is well made up for with quality of people.

Our 3 year old daughter has attended this centre since she was 1. The staff are amazing, very nurturing, loving and friendly.
The centre is always clean and tidy.
The meals are healthy and seem to be liked by our daughter.
Our daughter has learnt to so much and enjoys the various activities they do.
